This video will give you some history on how I got to the hyperdrive. Hustler hyperdrive with advance chute. Best zero turn out ? ua-cam.com/video/B_mmsggLxYE/v-deo.html I’m not in the landscape/mowing industry from a business standpoint. However I have owned and operated almost every mower made over my life. I also attended some of the biggest trade shows known. I’m currently work on greeting gravely out so stay tuned for that. On paper they produce a great machine. I haven’t tested one against others yet though. Appreciate the input
I have a unit with a "lowly" Hydro Gear serviceable ZT-2800 with nearly 1500 trouble-free, leak free hours. Yes, it can be a little jittery when cold but quickly warms where it becomes buttery smooth. Most of the best machines in the business have seen the benefits to going with pump / motor enclosed units, including Scag.
@@williamnewsome5169 nothing wrong with Hydro gear from my working standpoint. It’s just not near the unit as a separate pump and wheel motor as something like the hyperdrive has. I see the business standpoint of putting Hydro gear on these mowers. It’s a more compact cheaper way to do things as long as you don’t have trouble.
Do you deal with these for a living? I have a Gravely and love it and didn’t know what you thought about those? Thanks!
