Great video Seth and thanks for sharing Bob. One thing I've learned is that filming what you are doing adds a lot of time to your work process, not to mention the editing required. With all Seth needs to get done on his own time, it is generous of him to take us along. And very generous of you, Bob, to share your platform.
Seth, you are oh so lucky to learn under one of the most knowledgeable beekeepers! Bob is such a great person and employer. Many businesses owners require you to sign a “Non Compete Agreement” when they hire you and teach you their trade. I think you are going to make a great bee business owner like Bob.
Bob - You have all my respect for how you treat your employees and mentor others. Nice to see the progress of Seth and your influence. He is very lucky. It’s in the mid 40’s today in Indiana and our bees are out doing some cleaning flights and snooping for goodies. Looking forward to spring. 😁 Blessings to you all and stay well. - Tom
COOOOOL VID,,,Last nite was 56 degrees today was 65,,,im next to Lake Erie in Ohio an back to the 30s in day an 20s at nite tomorrow,,LOVE THE CHALLENGE,bees dont lol
Wow I was like hey!! He sounds like me! He must be close around.. then I see he is two states down. Wow the accent is strong like mine! It isn’t often I hear someone that sounds like me 😝. I like his set up. I was very surprised to see him just dump all those bees. I know laying workers are hard to handle but ouch.

I find the greatest achievement for a teacher is a student who loves his work, utilizes what they’ve been taught and go on to share that knowledge with others.
Seth! Great video and as I watch your working and the knowledge that you have gained, all I could think of how blessed you are having the opportunity to work for Bob. You are definitely a reflection of him!!
Seth you have busy bees in there. In the cuticle or under the nail are the funnest. First year keeping bees here in the NW, I miss that sound so glad Spring is almost here. Ty for sharing your time Seth, I hope you continue doing videos I enjoyed that.
good job on the video, really enjoy watching spring videos to get my mind re calibrated on what to look for in my yard in few weeks. We got 6 inches of snow here and another 6 on the way by the end of tomorrow, it gunna be a while for us. Thanks for shareing

Hi, beautiful boxes! But I would worry you will get a lot of swarms if you wait another month to come back down, here in the south bees grow and thrive 12 months a year. I would suggest adding another box to all, go up home then turn right back around with those 2nd boxes. You are doing a great job though, many full boxes of bees!! Nice to see someone doing good on these YT videos! and you're Binnie trained, of course with your own touch! If you were in SW Florida I would offer to volunteer to be your camera gal when you come down! (or Binnie) What fun!
Good video Seth. I appreciate hearing your thoughts outloud as you assess evey little thing, even the stings. Very helpful mentorship. I hope to follow more of your adventures with your own bees.
Always like to see updates from Seth Bob. I think it has to do with what a young motivated man can do with a good master to keep him grounded. I hope he goes far and doesn't burn out.
oh, i would love to start the season now, but there is still winter here in middle europe. 40cm snow, -4°C. so back to the workshop for preparing for april, when the work beginns :D Nice work seth, nice bees where you can work without serious protection :D
Alalgamation...thats one of them $1.387 type words! Very good job of explaining not just what he is doing, but also the back story of why and the expected results.
Boy I'll tell you what, that title hits home for this kid. I'm getting a few frame pairs myself, looking for that early flow. Glad to see Seth working comfortable.
Looking good Seth. I'm still a couple weeks away from our first inspections here in southern Ohio. The occasional day in the low 50's, bees are on cleansing flights.
Bob, it is good to see you move Seth ahead in the bee-keeping trade. I know in the past you have had employees go out on their own, and you showed no animosity towards them. Some day in the future Seth will be making videos talking about his mentor Bob Binnie like you do about when you started in beekeeping. You will be remembered for a long time. SML BEEs / SWVA.
Hey Seth great video. Good to the point hands on inspections. Iv always had the feeling that Bob was a good guy this is the proof he is. Most bosses will NOT let that happen. Thanks to Bob Binnie And Seth
Hey Bob! If you & Seth go further South, ya'll can come help me equalize my doubles too! LOL :) Seth said it best that "singles are more "fun", LOL... that's certainly true! I started seeing purple-eyed drone pupa about three or four weeks ago, so I dropped in my first round of grafts. They are all brooding up nicely down here. It should be a great bee season!! 🐝🐝🐝
Sipping my morning cup of honey tea. My hubby just informed me that my MIL was born in Hahira. He is headed just about half way between Atlanta and you Bob in about 10 days to a new complex. And I will be here in the north slipping in a frozen drive way and hoping for an early spring! Some folks got all the luck!!!!
Good stuff Seth! Just this week I went back to Bob's video in your wood shop so I could see your fancy air filter again. I ended up just duct taping a filter to the back of the box fan 😂
Mug up from central NH, where winter settles in. After yesterday's low of -21F, the thought has come to mind. Thanks for sharing, Seth. Great to see bees as it will be a while before I'm looking at the inside of a bee box.

Thank you Seth. It's nice seeing how your girls are growing. I thought about taking some of mine down to south Carolina but life made other plan for me. I'll be showing how my September split with double screens turned out here shortly. Thanks again. You're doing great.
The solution to the flooding of hives with the pail feeders is to glue a mason jar washer around the hole in the hive lid and not setting the pail over the hole. This prevents sugar syrup or rainwater from entering the hive. Those washers are available on amazon for as little as 5 cents each.
Seth’s a funny fella. Always a bit different and takes a little getting used to when you get on the other side of the camera, but his personality will suit him well. And his knowledge working for Bob will take him far. Good Ole Hahira. I grew up just south of there.
Good luck with your bees and your endeavor Seth! You definitely have the skills and it's making me eager to get into mine. A couple months to go until I get stung again.
Great job Seth. Enjoyed your video.
It's a tribute to you Bob. Shows what great folks you have around you.
