Today we look at the common issue of not being able to save an imported embroidery file from your computer to the permanent memory of a Brother Embroidery Machine. I have had this issue myself and I have received many comment and questions regarding this message. I hope this helps.

I think the amount of memory depends on your machine. I do have this problem from time to time. I don't store much on the machine. Just what I am working on at that time. I just save it in the computer and get it from there. For me it is most often the bigger designs I need to watch out for. I enjoy your videos. Thanks for the time you put into them. You do a good job!

I saved one or two images to my embroidery machine and now it wont allow me to save anymore, which is fine because either way i have to use my laptop for most of my images. However, it is frustrating because I've tried deleting the saved files and it won't. I watched this video to see find out if I was doing it wrong, but I still dont know the answer to that question.

I'm able to down load my image but when I press the file on my machine it gives me an error "The pattern is too large for he embroidery frame" The hoop I have is 4X4 and the image that I downloaded is 4x4. Is there a work around?

I have the new 3700d and I am getting the message when I select “Embroidery” I am not trying to save anything. I deleted everything on the USB except the file I want to stitch out and I still get that message with no option to cancel or anything else. I’ve read the manual)no help there and also contacted Brother Support and no help there. I updated the machine and I thought that fixed the problem but when I loaded a Kimberbell USB I had the same issue so I put just the file I wanted in a USB with nothing else on it and still got the error message. Very frustrated.

Hello I am having problems transferring a file from my computer to the my SE400. its saying that there is not enough space on my machine. I bought my machine recently and have only transferred about 2-3 files so far. Help, lost and still learning. If you know any embroidery online community that can help me on my journey I would really appreciate it.

MiChelle Dye I consulted the person that digitize to my image, and also spoke with a Brother representative. I was informed that for my machine specifically (se400) my image couldn't be any bigger than 4 by 4 since these are the only Dimensions my machine support. The image I was using prior to this was to fit a 5 x 7 hoop which isn't supported by brother at all (I purchased the hoop on Amazon) . I think brother has a 6 x 4 hoop that this machine would support, but until I upgrade to another machine I am stuck with 4 x 4 dimensions
