Hello 👋 🫂 good buddy Ryan 👍 I sure missed you buddy I know you have been extremely busy, that's a lot of work and very hard work doing body repair..your the best 👌 👍 captain yorkshire 👍 sure was good seeing you again. It has been and still very hot and humid over here. I'm doing pretty good buddy just having some arthritis flare ups but I keep on going I never sit down.., that car will be like new again..tell everyone I said hello and good hanging out with you buddy.
Been watching this series on the 911 for a while...It's nice to see that flat-6 come back to life after all that rust you had to deal with, much love from California, USA 🇺🇸
I so want to see the end of this series. My favourite horror stories are the ones when the good guys win - which is what this one is looking like it will be :-)
I may be mistaken, but I think there was a very distinct happy vibe in this video. It's just a hunch..... Great video and the Porsche is now beginning to resemble a car again. Thank you for sharing this joy.
Just keep doing what you do best, coming right along.starting to look like a car again.customer should be very happy when it is done.nice work.be safe 😎😎😎👍👍👍
What about all the cars you and your dad did start with and never finished by now, Mat Armstrongs BMW, the disaster Datsun, the Mazda Cosmo, the Ford Escort RS2000, the VW Porsche 914 from Shmee etc.etc.etc.etc.
I know the feeling. A friend´s VW T4 had some minor issues to repair, took me 7 months of welding and reparing to get it all properly done. That was five years ago, the T4 is still alive and kicking.
Well done Ryan. Just a question: why did you not remove the glass before grinding out the bracing ? I can see that most of the glass was sheeted off, but it would seem sensible not to have taken any chances. Best wishes.
@@simonanon2 have you seen everything that has been repaired? It‘s not original at all. Yes, the work is great, but I would not buy a Porsche with so much rust repairs as an investment.
@@simonanon2 that doesn‘t matter. If you talk about an investment the base for an original one would be a rust free 911 from japan or california because the future value will be much higher. The value of this one will not be affected so much if you do WTL.
I shared your joy when the wonderful engine began to sing on all six. All well done! I am impressed.
Another good illustration that these engines are OIL cooled much more than air cooled.
Great progress, love seeing the work you and your dad do
Always nice when the end is near

Well done Ryan. 911 nearly ready for the paint booth.

Nice!

How many hours of labour to this point from the day one?
How much £ 🤔
@@kieronsmith4500 Do you think 100 hrs at this point is fair? It's about 10000 Euros if 100 Euros per hour, no?
@@desmomotodesmomoto2033 very much so 👍
at least 6 months of work
Grinnah - whats going on Ryan your face is clean!
Good work but was that rivnuts or just plain rivets for oil pipes just wondering
Great job! First start is always a bitch, new noises, different smells, just to keep you on your toes.

👍🏻🍻
Next instalment's going to be a big moment with all the panels on. Hope they all fit!
It's meant to be red underneath not black underseal
That's up to the customer. The arches will be red as per request
@jaybee8128 is that your car? Did you know what the owner wanted? 😂
That kinda comment does NOT 😉 make u a total bell end
do not just plop shitty oil lines and cooler back on. Clean them.
Pumping the pedal before starting does nothing on a fuel injected car.
I did it for good luck 😉
Makes you feel good, too. 😎👍
Would be great to see a turbo look conversion!
No way, these are valuable, everything standard, not modified, mine was same as factory!

cool
haven't you forgotten to drill the holes for the headlight wires.
Not yet. I will do it when I put the front bumper mounts on
A quick question Ryan. If its having a full paint job why put the engine in now? BTW, it isn't a nasty question, I was wondering about the logic.
We have painted the engine bay already
@@yorkshirecarrestoration Thanks for the reply, I missed that. My apologies.
"Don't know what to do with meself"?
It 8pm Ryan!
Get yerself showered and get home for your Tea!
Didn’t seem right not clearing rust and maying panels
It’s going to be a very good car.
When are you going to to mat E24 video
Strong Work !!!
What age is the car. What year
This 911 is from 1984, I believe
