@@user-jt1js5mr3f They have a lot of Podcasts, but on UA-cam the recent Side Quest Side Sesh series was really good and is about 12 episodes. Their Lockdown era New Game Who Dis playlist is really good just pick what you want from there. Voyagers of the Jump (sci-fi, Traveller) and Time for Chaos (Lovecraftian, Call of Cthulhu) are both really good as well

The way y'all played Dragonbane inspired me so much. I bought the game and can't wait to play with my friends!
Everyone knocked their characters out of the park. Jason's voice and monologues, Jo's hilarious Snow White, Skid's crazy grump, Paula's perfect musician (that's my trumpet! So excited she actually used it), and Joe's NPCs were all amazing. I want a Glam Glam T-shirt so badly.

As someone who grew up playing the original Swedish Dragonbane game in the 80's and 90', it is always interesting to see people who didn't play any of those older editions play this new version made by FL. :) I know it is updated, and slightly different, from those older editions, but I am still really happy they have released a new edition of it. Seems really interesting! :) I hope I get to play it some day.
The fact that it is GCN playing it as well, just makes it all the better! 😊
Drakar & Demoner (Dragonbane) was the first RPG i ever played. Back in the 90's. Many happy memories. :)
Every single Glass Cannon Gen Con session has been great, so it's hard to pick the best one, but to me it's down to this one and Jared's Vast Grim. I hope you have a chance to talk about the Dragonbane system on the podcast, Joe.
Fantasticly fun play from everyone, as I've come to expect from anything Glass Cannon related. Just ran my first session of Dragonbane last night as a fill-in game while we were one player down. My players were initially not very enthusiastic (echoing some of the skepticism I've seen around the internet about DB), but by the end of the night we were all having a blast and will be playing it again next week.

I caught this live last year, but listening again cuz I just got the Dragonbane boxed set.
Fun fact - at about 1:27, Skid drops music from the Hulk tv show, and everyone says "Bruce Banner", forgetting that for the tv show, Dr. Banner was renamed "David", cuz the network brass thought "Bruce" sounded too homosexual. 😂

Animal heroes in a fantasy setting? Sign me up! I really enjoyed this game and hopefully the GCN can revisit it soon. Also I would like to see Jason Charles Miller make another appearance on the GCN. Perhaps running 7th Sea? 🤔

I'm a complete Free League homer but I'm not sold on DB. If anyone could change my mind it may be you guys. (I doubt it, but I'll have some chuckles at least!😉)
Same. FL is a solid publisher but I’ve been on the fence about DB though I love the art.

Or you're actually curious, in which case color me surprised. Either way it feels like I have to 'defend' my opinion and I have no interest in doing that.

I Think that the actions they have for a round is one reaction, one move and one action - so they can parry, move and attack in the same round

Unless you have a heroic ability then parrying or evading consumes your action.
Great fun. But you guys just skipped over the whole chip the stuck characters out of the 8 inches of frozen muck part? Kind made the rest of the story unbelievable. 😉
