Those are Watercress vegetables, and they taste delicious and refreshing if stir fry with garlic, or cook in soup with sweet dry dates and some Chinese herbs. Thank you again for bringing us along your Cameron Highland Farm visit. Now only I know what is watercress (£ 10 per kg), and a tree tomato or tamarillo which is a type of fruit. These two plants, watecress and tree tomato can only be grown in cool high mountain places. I myself have never eat them.
Thank you for sharing. The tomatoes were delicious 🤤
DanAnna, you see Malaysian good citizen always welcome any people.
Yes everywhere we go 🇲🇾❤️

U can always ask what they called in local language, be in in Malay or/ and Chinese and you’ll get the answer in English version here.
These are local veg used for local dishes which are are delicious
Thank you 🙏
Nice 👍
👍🫶❤️
The fuit of the creeper which Madam Wong said is like the pumpkin is the winter melon.
Thank you so much for explaining this May ❤️
Water cress for soup with chinese red dates. Yummy. Steamboat.
And healthy ❤️
My wife is from Guangzhou, and Chinese people sometimes make this as a cool drink. When u pluck out those that are old and can’t eat, put it aside to boil and put it in fridge. It’s a really nice drink
The locals call it tree tomatoes. And the correct name is tamarillos. In Indonesia its called Terung Belanda.
Is there tamarillo sauce?
Its called Terung BELANDA not terung belada LOL
@@TheMan-xp4cb Tamarillo original berasal dari Amerika Selatan, orang di indon panggil Terung Belanda sebab Belanda yang bawa ke indon
@@TheMan-xp4cb Belanda bro not berlado xD
That is water crest...very expensive i supermarket and its a super food laden with nutrient.
Thank you for sharing
Those are water cress. Can be eaten or boiled soup.. very nice veg
We think we have eaten this in soup 🍜
@@dananna8614 some restaurants around there are using it for their base soup for steamboat.
Best video 👍💪
Thank you so much, all credit to madam Wong 🙏
That’s water cress. U can also boil it and keep in fridge. It’s super refreshing drink

💃💃
I never ate tree tomatoes before
Neither had we
Retirement in malaysia la anna
Maybe 🤔
She cannot harvest because her staff are off celebrating hari raya.
👍❤️
1 st time seeing sweet tomatoes....ooo...tree tomatoes....i thought i heard sweet tomatoes...😅
Sweet tree tomatoes 🍅
Water Cress. Westerners use it in sandwiches.
Yes but not this size then.
@@dananna8614 , I see, I think it should be what is locally called "Kangkong", which is also translated to WaterCress. However, Malaysia has also the WaterCress. Both WaterCress are cooked differently. The KangKong you have probably tried in one of the Malay stalls you visited.
shout-out to madam wong...what a nice experice to harvest some tomato and the view was perfect
