I loved mewithoutyou when I was devoutly faithful, I appreciated them on a deeper level during my personal crisis of faith, and I feel like I have a multidimensional, and deep love and and appreciation for them as a faithless heathen. I feel like I get a lot more out of their music, and scripture for that matter having been liberated from my former narrow, dogmatic religious views.

Fucking same bud. It's weird. I've never believed but I love so many Christian bands...manchester orchestra mewithoutyou brand new colour revolt. I think he actually has taken the time to read scripture and study it and be a scholar of it and that's totally different then someone who uses the Bible to justify their own shitty beliefs about sexual preferences or who we should go to war with or whatever. He's a true man of faith.
