+Anton Brimage I listen to this album every day and never noticed the lyrics down here. I wish every song had them. Such magnificent lyrics.
Ten Stories also blows my mind. mewithoutyou is a huge influence on everything I do.
I've been listening to them since I was 16 and waited until I was 25 to see my first concert which was them obviously one of the best times of my life. They are truly amazing.
I did plan on putting the lyrics up to all their songs I'll get back to it ^_^

It is a reference to a Danish cartoon of Muhammad wearing a turban made of dynamite.

Amazing lyrics - one references those who reference God and God and are not fearful of seeing/saying and the other is the Islamic way of not depicting prophets. Either way, the deaths and overall religous persecution has killed God - either if you say his name or not.
2015 was a wild time.
@@PossumMedic also, FYI this is when Aaron(the lyricist) converted from Christianity to Islam, so the whole verse is him actually going to Idaho to meet his future wife's family and that he - not with a beard, turban and the other signifiers is as "harmless as a Danish Cartoon"

Every Mewithoutyou song has so much meaning and context it's actually so crazy
When they announced this song and Red Cow during the concert they did here back in April, I was so stoked. Both of these two songs sound amazing and I can't wait to hear the rest of the album.

cortizone121 a lot of the vocal patterns and even story line is extremely similar. At times Aaron and Max even sound the same.
The lyrics in this song make no sense to me... But I'm fine with that. Such a tune.
That's fair enough. They really don't need to make sense to me, they're still really cool and the song is still awesome. My favourite rapper is Aesop Rock and I still don't understand a lot of his lyrics. I appreciate and accept that they are metaphorical. :)

This has to be reference to Muslims and the outrage over cartoons depicted about the Prophet - brilliant but has context of the time the song was created in. Ater all, he did convert and marry a girl from the country - so a Muslim in Idaho is as harmless as a cartoon.
