I was taking Lansoprazole for TWENTY ONE years !! Rec3ntly did a retired nurse friend told me about it . They were shocked that the varous GPs in different places I've lived in over the years had never picked up on it , even though my Vit B 12 levels are always on the low side and I take 800mg capsules . So I asked my current GP to wean me off the Lansoprazole and am almost free of it , just another few alternate days. Then it will be interesting to see if my Vit B 12 level increases . 🤔

Both vegetarians and vegans should supplement with zinc and k2. I probably get enough zinc from nuts, and enough k2 from ferments, but a little extra zinc and k2 to be sure is a good idea.
No matter what diet, everyone should supplement with d3.
God sent you to help humanity!
Also what's the dosage we should take ?
But how much
Had mouth ulcers for many years no one could give me an aswers why the came and go every month now things worsen to pins and needles fatigue & constipation...
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, Dr. Berg!
Higher doses of methylcobalamin are necessary for conditions like chronic fatigue or neuropathies

You have been unraveling the complexities that affects health bcz of the deficiencies in vitamins, minerals, micronutirents, protines etc etc and also the causes while highliting the best health practices that should be incorporated in daily rotines... The most significant part of your Utubes is the things that is normally excluded by a general health practioner and thus leaving the patients uninformed about the inticasies of the treatment being followed.. your U tubes provide such a detailed information that should not only educate a person suffering from ailments but also deals with the pathways the nutirents undergoes once ingested and thus provides a therotical update the medical science students need to know..
A great service to the mankind.
I have Pernicious Anemia and MTHFR. Both affect B12. I find methyl groups convert to fast so Hydroxocobalmin works best.
Dr Berg’s videos /articles on pernicious anemia and on MTHFR may help.
Thank you for all you do Dr. Berg!!! I have learned so much from you.
I appreciate your comment and I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
How many Mcg of methyl b12 it’s better to take in a daily basis? Thank you so much for your magnificent work. 🙏💫 greetings from Mexico City.
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone 😊
Thank you !!! same to you.❤❤️❤️🌹🙏
Really good health information
Thanks much!
Thanks Dr. I have to go back to B12 supplement once again. 😊
I used to take high-dose Cynanocobalamin but it always made me feel tired soon after taking it. I changed onto a mix of 2:1 ratio Methylcobalamin and Adenosylcobalamin and it's a huge change. Full of energy all week but not wired, and that's taking only one per week (40,000% RDA).
what brand do you take and where do you get it? thank you

I was taking a stomach liner to prevent problems from taking Naproxine years ago as well as other meds for FMS , only to find out in a chance conversation recently that the liner ...100mgs Lansoprazole ... should only be taken for ONE year maximum because it can affect Vit B12 level . 🤔
I have pernicious anaemia and I have no intrinsic factor in my stomach so I have to get injections every ten to twelve weeks
Thank you so much Doctor Berg .Vitamin is the important topic ,everyone need to know and how to use them appropriately. I am grateful your explanation and education for that.❤.Have a happy Thanks Giving dr Berg
Happy Thanksgiving Dr Berg and to everyone who reads this ❤
Thank you! Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
Vegan since 2018. First sign of B12 deficiency for me is deep vertical ridges on my fingernails. I also noticed the lil half-moons on each fingernail is missing. A month ago, I stated taking a B12 tab every morning and now my fingernails are slowly becoming flat again.
Interesting 🧐 thanks for sharing.
Could you please share which one you take? Thanks
Undiagnosed Celiac disease, inflammation in the gut, can cause vitamin b12 deficiency, and deficiency of nutrients in general.
When I read comments of such type of health related videos.. People says amazing, awesome.. Very informative.. No any video in which people critise... Infact all videos are appreciated but still peoples suffer from health related issues...either not learnt from videos or information are not correct...
Infact people shall appreciate only after validating tips given through videos. First use the tips given through videos and if they helps you then only give feedback in comment.
I can't handle methyl b vitamins, I have slow COMT. But I also have FUT2 gene mutations which can cause me to not really absorb it properly. And I think that's happening. Liver seems to help the most.
I have all those symptoms plus osteoarthritis and sciata with painful backbone. Mental fog or confusion and firgetting most times, unstable in walking, poor judgement of distancebor depth. Where do I need to start. Am 67 y/o.

DR. BERG, About 5 minutes ago I got a message from one of my doctors to STOP taking my B-12 supplement immediately. I was taking 5 MG daily. I noticed a day or so ago when my Labwork came in that my B-12 sure was high, but figuring it wouldn’t harm me, chose to ignore it. That is, until hearing straight from my doctor about it. Hmmmmm. I know it is expecting too much to have you comment on this.
Ohhhh. And the kind I was taking is EXACTLY the kind that Dr. Berg recommends.
How much i should take it? How many mg in a day
After transformation in injures. I look better but the place where I live is stead putting out negativity. I felt more when I was fighting against them
Good morning Dr.😇
I switched to this type of B12. It has helped me so much. Thank you❤
Wonderful!
How did you find the right kind?
@TheQueensWish I looked on the back of the label. It'll tell you if it's made with methylcobalamin. The only place I could it is at Walgreens, where I live.
@@vickiekeeton3658 Thanks I’ll check there.

Can levetiracetam ( keppra ) cause a b12 deficiency ?
Awesome info video thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it!
The largest cause of B12 deficiency is an autoimmune disorder called pernicious anemia. B12 injections are then required.
