okay so this is really great and cool, and I am here to give good feedback. The whammy bar on the low e string doesn't sound right, it's supposed to have a more heavy lower sound to it. Then also, on the two tapping parts, both hands are supposed to be above the fretboard. Besides that, it sounds great, and there's always things anyone can improve on.
I have so much respect for people like you, who just absolutely nail Eddie's sound. All the harmonics, tremolo stuff and articulation, not many can play his stuff this precisely... Awesome cover 🤟

If I close my eyes it sounds just like EVH! Love how you have captured so many elements of the VH sound. For a deeper VH cut, I would do "The Dream is Over" Similar sound, but different style. Unchained is also a great challenge.
Great job as always Sophie; it seems you were running this into a digital rig? Wondering if the settings would work well mono via an effect loop such as with your EVH stack; I have the 2x12 combo myself so very similar.
Hi Sophie, I am not sure how you have the micro pitch set up. I am assuming mono since it only shows 1 cable hooked up instead of 2 for stereo. I run 3 mesa amps for a true wet dry wet and I have the micro pitch set up as follows: stereo left and right, mix between 12 and 1 o clock, pitch A set to 11 o clock and pitch B set to 1 o clock. yours sounds right in the video but your settings don't sound right on a true wet dry wet rig so just in case you build a wet dry wet rig you may need to do some adjusting to the micro pitch. just refer back to my settings if you do. good job! cheers ! Oh and just like Eddie said back in the 80's. "If you go by the book you have to stay by the book", Thats why he chose not to go by the book.

Suena bien en general, muy buen trabajo con los pinch harmmonics,con los tap, el sólo bien logrado... lo malo es el trabajo con el trémolo, no suena como lo hacia Eddie con ese sonido súper grave con las cuerdas 5ta y 6ta... suena muy débil con las cuerdas mas agudas... pero salvo ese detalle importante , fue un gran trabajo de guitarra!

My favorite VH song is Somebody Get Me A Doctor. Mainly because the main riff is so cool but it also has one of Eddie's best solos IMHO. Btw, do you think there is pitch shift in Hot for Teacher opening tapped section?

As cheesy as it is Why Can't This Be Love is my favourite Van Halen song because when I was first getting into them as a kid listening to The Best of Both Worlds greatest hits album it absolutely blew my mind. I was crushing really hard on the girl who's dad lent me the album at the time so that might have had something to do with it haha. You nailed this! I knew you were good but making EVH parts look this effortless while sounding so dead on really is quite impressive =)
