I live in the same town as kendama house. It's actually a bmx shop called Lawson Cycles and kendama house is his second business
Oreo Dude Fort Collins reppppp!!!!
BMX and Kendama are the best mixture. I do both and love them. Props to Kendama House🤙
I actually went in there last month and hung out for a bit. They were really nice, and I had a fun time. I live out in Laramie but go to Fort Collins quite a bit.
Glad you did this one man! Enjoyed it even as someone who already knows everything about the damas. As always your blunt, honest and unbiased critiques are refreshing and a nice break from the sometimes biased or sugarcoated “this thing slays, I love it” reviews out there.
Thanks man. Honestly that's one of the big reasons I started doing this was no one was giving any actual criticism. The reviews I was seeing were all from the company or pro players sponsored by the company. If we actually want to see improvement we need people to voice their opinions. I really hope more people start making reviews too and maybe the larger companies would take more feedback. If there were 10 people putting videos out reviewing a dama and they all had the same issue/complaint. I think the company would make a change a lot quicker versus just one person's opinion.
A video the community needed! Thanks for making this 👍🏼
My pleasure dude!
Great video man nice editing and reveiw
This kind of video really helps beginners like me , thanks 😄
Lmfao i love how realistic his emotions towards products are. Dont send your shit here expecting some fake hyped up review
I actually decided to stop taking free damas from companies a while ago. These are all paid for out of pocket. I was never biased about reviews in the past where I was sent a dama, but I did feel bad whenever I gave a harsh criticism. I wanted to remove that entirely so I just bite the bullet and spend my own money now. No company is going to improve if people don't tell them what they want changed.
Pls dont stop making videos you are the most informative amd objective dama unboxing and review youtuber
Another dope review keep it up!!!!!
I don’t like lunar balance holes. It is better for lunars but only if you are doing backflips (if the shape is good). But there are tricks you can not do with a balance hole and it sucks for slings (and sometimes kenflips). Overall i like the kusa dama more but both are pretty cool.
these vids are so clean
Love the vids man! Can you make final reviews of kendamas after being played for an amount of time? Keep up the great work!
Once lotus kendamas released the first quality $20 Kendama everyone hopped on lol
True! Competition is always good for the consumer. Just wish lotus made larger batches and had all their models available more often
Your videos are amazing post moreeew
Great Quality Video! KEEP GOING
Something to keep in mind is that lunar balance is also affected by how far up or down the cups sit on the spike.
Totally true!
I have that red kaizen halfsplit. I love it compared to my sweets tydye. I just got a bonz KROM pro mod in maple tho, can't wait to give her a go. Great video bruv! ✌🏾 from Alaska.
what an underrated channel
Make more videos outside because last one was fire😀
Well done. Thanks
I use the 1,2,3,4 stickers from the sweets package for when my Ken gets loose 😂
subbed for the kendama house tip (:
Keep up the nice work ;)
Both these companies have a lot of waste in their packaging, which to me is un-aesthetic. They should streamline it; save themselves money, save the environment, and look sleeker.
I ABSOLUTELY agree
Bro I love the speaker in the background! It’s so fitting. Did you place that there just for this edit or do it there because of it? Just wondering
Those are just my studio monitors I use! Haha I didn't even realize the colors matched the damas 😂 totally coincidence!
Will you do a winner kendama review or kendama China review please
Hey Ken trying to get back into kendama and get better. Any sub 20-25 recommendations in 2024? Tysm
Dude I love kendama house
For real, they're the best, right?
So Kendama USA made a bobber and Sweets made a Pokeball 😂
I just barely got a kaizen slim with silk paint and within a few hours of playing it the silk paint around the hole was completely gone and now I’m left with a very slippery tama. Is anyone else having this problem
Question: do both of these kendamas have generally bigger cups than standard JKA?
i bought all 6 to split with a friend. def going to be some stocking stuffers haha
Haha I guess I stand corrected. Did you put the poster together?
Shouting out Jon in the vid he’ll yeah all hail kendama house
Is the kaizen paint sticky
Good video dude. I got a boost red like yours because it kinda looks like a pokeball lol
haha I thought the same thing. And the kusa half split looks like a fishing bobber
Hey, can you do a review on the KUSA craft shift natty kendama. Im interested in buying that, a Boo Johnson sweets model, or a squab. also , If you have any advice for a player who has played for 8 months, which one is best for that player?
Yo! Sorry this is a super late reply. But I would definitely recommend the sweets or an Analog C shape if you can get your hands on one. Unless it's not going to be your primary jammer, I would say stay away from natty kendamas. They're really slippery and hard to do lunars with, but they are still fun to play! If it was the only dama I was playing though I might get frustrated with it. Hope that helps!
I love ur vids and which one would be better for multiple juggles the sweets one or the USA one can’t decide because for the USA one since it has a long string, it could hit the floor but if I pick the sweets one the string might be too short for juggles but I don’t know from experience.
Both are good for juggles and I wouldn't worry about the string length too much! A 6 finger string is plenty long (I learned on a 3 finger lol) so either length is good but it is nice the Kendama USA comes with a longer one. You can always cut it shorter if it's too long and ends up hitting the floor. I like the shift shape from Kendama USA better for juggling personally, but the Sweets has a bigger bevel so it'll be a bit easier to spike after juggling. You really can't go wrong!
What do you think of the pops? I really like them, but the paint can be kinda icy for me
That's what I find with most silk paints. Especially for biginners it can be discouraging. Once the paint is broken in after a lot of playing it stays kind of sticky. I think it's actually better for more advanced players even though it's still a budget dama
i remembr you saying you wanted the cush version of the decademod, and sweets company is dropping another batch of cush version and sticky version, you can get it and tell us about it!
Hey Ken Cult, I really want a squab shape. Do you know where I might be able to get one? Analog is always sold out, and I don't have social media to keep up with the updates. If you know any where i can get the squab... please let me know. Thanks man. I love your videos, and you make it so tempting to but all of the kendama's you buy and review ;):) Keep it up, you are one of the best kendama youtubers.
Thank you so much! Unfortunately Analog is a pretty small brand and as far as I know is only sold through their site. There's a Kendama forum called "DownSpike" which has a Kendama sale page where players list their damas for sale. You might be able to find one there!
@@kencult Thank You so much. Btw, do you think its worth to buy a analog x sol kendama?
KEN CULT I don’t know if you remeber me from Instagram but I’m your 86 SUBSCRIBER
i kinda like the kusa better bcs there s no hole in the box. if a dama stays in a depot for a long time and itr has a hole in the box, dust settles on the tama and the tackiness will live for like 5 minutes and you ll have a glossy dama
what about krom pop
unbiased the nobu nori mod please!!
Half split all the way!!
I have a Sweets Kendama which is a BOOST RADAR in the color green
Was it a good purchase ?
@@BKSalamander yes
I’m looking into some other brands, I’ve already bought from sweets, kusa, krom, and kendamaisr, where else should I buy from? I’ve heard good things from analog and sol, are there any other decent brands? Great vid btw
Thanks man! Both analog and Sol I highly recommend. Check out the last video I posted before this and it covers the Liam router and Alex Mitchell pro mod from Sol. Lotus Kendama is another great brand to check out, but their releases are pretty few and far between. I know Sol is currently out of their pro Mods and I'm not sure when they plan on re-stocking but Analog is about to do a pre order for their next release. So if you're looking for a dama soon then I would check analog 👍 let me know if you have any other questions!
CEREAL KENDAMA
Krom Pops are amazing $20 budget damas
I've heard great things about them! I've personally never tried them, but I hear the silk paint can get a bit slippery
What kind of speakers are in the background?
KRK's
Here in philippines we have 8 dollar kendamas from a local company and its good try to review it next time its called manila kendama
Kendama House Fort Collins CO!!!!
bruh QR code is a dealbreaker for me
I’m getting back Into kendama, any recommendations on any good sticky kendama under $30? I’m thinking of Krom pop, ozora reshape or sweets prime (sports) or any kendama that are great for long term
Homie... The two in the video 😂 I actually do like both of these better than the krom pop personally (not super sticky) take a look at the half split Kaizen from Kendama USA on their website. Lot's of colors to choose from, sticky paint and a great shape. It'll even be under $30 including shipping too. The sweets prime sports are nice, but are on their last generation shape which has pretty small cups compared to the latest dama shapes. I haven't played with the ozora personally, so I can't really comment on that one. But I'd recommend the Kaizen half split to you 👍
KEN CULT lmao, thanks for the feedback ill definitely look into it 😂👍🏻, love your videos btw*
@@TinkyTooscan haha for sure. Always happy to help! Let me know if you have any more questions 👍 it's dope you're getting back into it!
KEN CULT is there a difference between the sweets boost and prime radar? If so, is the half split better than those?
@@TinkyTooscan so there are two radars from sweets. One is the prime which is the older, first model. The second is the newer boost model. Definitely pick up the boost model if you can out of those two. The Kaizen half split is on the Shift shape which is pretty much equal to the new boost shape from sweets. Those are the two I'm comparing in this video. There's a lot of names being thrown around so I'm sorry if this gets kind of confusing haha
Do krom pop unboxing
Damn it kendama house was my secret aswell now it's not gunna be lol
Do you glue your kendama spikes?
Yup! Always. If you're just getting back into dama, you should check out my other video on tips for beginners. It covers a bunch of stuff. Hopefully you find it helpful!
KEN CULT aight imma check that vid out
When will they restock???
I heard this month, but that was before all this craziness happened so it might have been pushed back. Follow Sweets Instagram to keep up to date 👌
forgot to talk about the paint feel of both tamas
Both are prettttyyy dang close. There's not a lot of difference across companies with their sticky clear paint. After playing with both now for a while I think Sweets has started to break in a bit better over the Kusa
When’s the next vid coming
Honestly I don't have another one planned! So we'll see
KEN CULT u should review the v23 sweets they are pretty cool
I have about 8 or 9 kendamas that are boost shape and I have 5-6 shift shape kendamas and more times then not I have found the boost shape to always have better lunar balance and I feel like the shift shape doesn’t favor that but that’s from my experience
what about krom pop LOL
Kendama Usa is 100% better in my opinion
How come?? I like them both in general, but they each have their faults. Have you had a bad experience with Sweets before?
I found kendama house
Guys let make em all sold out
Ravencrest Tactical?
???
The knife
@@gangstagripsslingshots8425 ohhh lol nah, it's a Microtech OTF
Half splits are my all time fav. But the sticky clear from kusa just never holds up as well as sweets for me. I have 7+ of each brands sticky clear damas and it always seems to be the case.
KROM POP
i hit the 100th like
Hellllssss yeahhhhh thanks dog
Awesome video. DM’d you on Instagram if you could check your messages 🤙
Subtile French please 🙏🙏
