There are only a few people in my book who set the standard for what a reporter/historian is. Ken Squier is one of those people and to say thank you just doesn't quite cut it because he will be greatly missed.

On par with losing Dale Earnhardt .... today , we lost THE GREATEST BROADCASTER in motorsports !! The THRILLS / EXCITMENT / FUN this man brought to every single race he called is his greatest gift to us all !!! I waited all winter to get to the DAYTONA 500 every yr so i could spend 3 hrs of glory hanging on every word Ken said !!! Thank_you Ken for every race you enhanced with your spectacular brand of play by play !!! Rest In Peace !!! ❤💯

We lost a story teller who could make you feel like you were in the stands and not in your living room. I could listen to him talk all day about anything and everything. Rest In Peace Mr. Squier and thank you 🙏🏼 for your humble soul. 💙

I could listen to him tell stories forever. There are a lot of raw satellite feed races out there on youtube and i really do implore everyone to watch some of them if you haven't. Hearing him work behind the scenes is wonderful and we were truly blessed. I'm grateful that younger generations will continue to hear Ken's voice.

Every single memory that I have of NASCAR & motorsport in general from when I was a kid has the voice of Ken Squire as a soundtrack. He was a huge part of racing getting in my blood. Without exception Mr Squire was always the classiest and most thoroughly informed voice at the track. My heart breaks with the thought that we will likely soon lose this man.
Ordinarily I’m not one to cry very easily or very often. But I’m welling up even writing this… I’m pretty sure I’m going to break with the news.
Thank you for narrating the countless wonderful memories that I have of motorsport, sir. I’m sure you have a million friends, but in my mind you truly have no peers. You were the unmatchable standard. May the Lord bless you and keep you, Ken Squire. You, your family, as well as the countless who adore you… are in my prayers. 🙏🏼🥲

50LBS cameras, now they can make them so small you don't even see them. It is shocking the amount technology has changed specifically in the last 100 120 years. What a time to be alive.

Seems strange now the 2 responsible for keeping racing alive in Vermont are gone. RIP Ken Squier and Tom Curley. Wish I had seen the sprints at the Essex Jct Fair. Catamount Stadium was the local track that i got to enjoy in my late teens before it closed. Ken was there all the time also. The final race at Catamount was a 300 car enduro. You had to squeeze to sit the stands were so packed. Brent Dragon son of Harmond Beaver Dragon was quite comical turning laps on the infield more than the track.

Public radio gets less and less funding, and private radio is constantly gobbled up by monopolies, constantly delievering less and less news. In some places not putting out EAS broadcasts getting people killed driving into dangerous situations unkowingly. Support public and independent radio, call the FCC if someone isnt spreading EAS warnings, and save the lives of drivers.
