I really like the following explanation someone once told me: "submission" = "sub" + "mission" = under the same mission. This means that together, as a couple, husband and wife are doing what they are called to do together: serving the Lord by serving each other in their own roles. As Milena said, this has nothing to do with just doing what the man commands. It is based on love: love for Christ and love for husband/wife.

Girl you are putting out content lately that is so controversial in these times and I am absolutely HERE for it. It’s so easy to stay quiet about this stuff and so easy to be discouraged when obviously not everyone is going to agree with you. But a lot of women including myself have got to start speaking out about this. There is strength in numbers. Thank you for being brave enough to say these things Milena

Completely identify with the backseat driver thing. Something that struck a chord with me was the thought ‘why is it okay to be so controlling towards our husbands when we would be furious if they acted the same way?’ It’s too exhausting. They are human. The more I let him lead, the better of a leader he has become.

I have to start off by saying I was not a follower of Jesus for a long time due to religious trauma I experienced as a child, but Ever since I started watching your videos, years ago has helped me slowly heal that trauma, but these last months of yours videos have been so eye opening and have been helping me find my path back to the lord. I have such a poor habit of being huffy and irritated instead of remembering that we are on the same team, and this could easily solve so many of those instances with a simple change of heart posture in the moment.

If i had a woman like this, I would put my literal life on the line for them and do anything I could to make sure that she is taken care of. Girls today dont realize the core values that a dude wants... just simple support at home is what that vast majority of guys want. Whether they are secular or religious. My prayers to you that you saw the actual values of what a woman brings to the table for a man.

Some of our husbands feel respected when we communicate that we are tired and accept the help they want to provide after they've had a long day away from the family they love too. Allowing them to step in when we need to go to the father because we may feel weak and our strength needs to be perfected through Christ. There's purpose is in partnership.

One thing I started doing that has completely changed my marriage is I started asking my husband for guidance. This lowers his guard and I truly get to see my husbands heart in specific matters. Our husbands see things about us that we tend to turn a blind eye to. And for me personally, I know my husband doesn't want to come to me when I always think I'm right and even when I need his help I'm "still right". Humbling ourselves and asking him for his guidance helps us to see what it means to be submissive.

This series has been so amazing. Thank you for this study, for bringing this topic to light and bringing us closer to the word and to our duties as wives. I’m loving and coincidentally, it has been something I’ve been trying to really work on in the past few months.
I think we so much live in a time where we are told that we should be speaking our minds and being “independent”, and that makes us not want to rely on her husband and also sometimes not even work on our marriages. It is so easy to just start pointing fingers and playing the blame game.

THANKYOU for this video. As a wife I found that while we are in arguments I would Shut down & not face him nor look at him & he would always say how that made him feel disrespected. I just came to the realization that that was the enemy shutting me down because there were a few times when I looked at him in the eyes and snapped out of it, or a few times in arguments my husband would just come and hug me & it would make me put into perspective how much I in fact do LOVE this man and would instantly realize the argument wasn’t us against each other, it was us against the enemy. WOW i don’t know why it took me this long to come to this but THANKYOU Holy Spirit. So my advice and takeaway would be to have that direct contact with your husband WHILE talking through any problem so you keep yourself aware of who you are talking to. I know this may seem silly but for me I know this will be a breakthrough for our conversations ❤️❤️✝️

Thank you so much for all you share. 😊🙏🏼 Also a quick idea: Perhaps you could share the bible verses that you reference in each video in the video description? You share all the links to decor etc., and that's great, but how cool would it be to have all the bible verses you reference in one spot to quickly refer back to. (Especially in the first video on submission, I was going back and pausing the video to take note of all the passages referenced.) Thank you!! 🙂

Hi Milena! Just wanted to say hi and thank you for your content. I found your UA-cam channel at the beginning of January when I felt a very big push from the Lord to get serious about following Him daily. Your videos speak so much truth, and your marriage videos in particular ended up preparing me to love and submit to my husband after a month of being apart so he could help support us financially. When he got back, it was amazing how out of practice I was at being a wife after only a month. Although it was challenging, my mentality recovered quickly as your videos pointed me to the Word and encouraged me to dive into what God says about being a wife, praying and applying it daily. Once again, thank you for your content and helping us to follow the Lord’s will for our lives by pointing us to his Word and leading by example! Prayers for you and your family as you get closer to welcoming another little one! 🫶🏼

I'm single as I was saved unmarried and had to leave that relationship but I see all the mistakes I've made in every relationship I've been in. I have 2 children so even just watch you diligently keep your home and cook nutritious meals blesses me. When we come to Christ we have to completely unlearn the worlds ways and renew our minds daily!!! These really help prepare me when God blessed me with my husband.

It is so hard to find biblical truth on social media. The beauty and wisdom in this video is so amazing that the Lord just anointed you to speak on this topic. I recently prayed for my husband about some thing and the next day he was up at the altar. Prayer is so powerful !

So instead of seeing it as problem see it as a strength.
I’m weak in a area my husband is strong in. && vice versa.
So start seeing it as a strength and realizing hey, this is an area that I can learn from my husband in an area that I can grow in . ❤

I love this. Do you think it's "easier" for a wife to submit to her husband if she is a SAHM and the husband works? I can't help but think that environment is more conducive to biblical submission. If the wife works and the husband either stays at home or is retired, it more difficult. Thoughts?

      I feel like it’s a bit harder for w working mom/wife.
Personally I feel like I just serve and serve and serve and continuously pour out and have no help. I WANT to be a great wife and submission doesn’t come hard to me. But at the same time I feel so overwhelmed

I struggle submitting to my husband when it comes to parenting. I keep praying he follows a more biblical approach. I'm home with the kids more than he is, so I feel like I understand them better and know how to work with them better. I also have a more biblical approach and submit to the Lord in my parenting before my husband..hope that makes sense😅

I thank you a lot for what you share here and the way (slowly speaking, with more examples and less reading) is the way I understand better. Maybe you can type a list of bible quotes to check after the video so that I can catch them up later in my mother tongue :) the Lord bless you and your family!

I would love to at least get some verses on the things Men are called to do, just as a guide to study more in depth. I read the Proverbs 31 verses to my husband and he immediately asked, "does it say what husbands should do ?" I have found a few but would love to see which you and your husband have found. Thank you for these helpful videos 💕

I already feel convicted of this and I'm not even married 😅
My bf and I are in a serious, long distance relationship. We are talking about marriage and buying a house next year. However, I've been very pushy with the whole process of engagement- choosing and buying a ring especially. Watching this video showed me that I can practice being submissive to him by trusting my bf and also in God's timing. I want to prepare right now for being the best, loving, submissive and respecting wife I can be for him one day.
