I got this on a zastava AK with a krebs custom aluminum handguard rail system. It doesnt get fried like an egg after 300 (cant say the same for my hand) so it's well heat resistant. Holds 0 damn well also despite the handguard heat and area its mounted (start drinking protein shakes if you cant get it to hold).
