Lost Wax Cast Stones in Place

This is a quick video of samples from our Lost Wax: Stone Setting in Wax workshop at Silvera Jewelry School. The stones were set in the wax models and cast in place. No setting afterwards, just polishing.

what kind of stones they were?? didn't change color or broke?? may i do that with zircons any color i would like to?? greetingsss ^^

Hi - I used cubic zirconia. But there are some colors that don't work, and stones have to be high quality, no inclusions. Only certain stones can withstand the heat. Thanks for watching! Joe
