- From The Awakening to De Mysteriis Dom. Sathanas, DSP vinyl discography unveiled. My cat thought it was a good idea to scratch the living hell out of my arm while I was recording this.
Your cat just wants to tell ya he’s a metal fan man, haha. This is like the first video I’ve ever seen of someone showing off the DSP releases
He does enjoy metal. And being a nuisance. Not necessarily in that order.
@@OldSchoolMetalVinyl Ha. Like my cat. I just discovered your channel! Fo you plan to make more videos?
@@chicagotransitauthority3161 yes, I will certainly add more content in the future. I'm just lazy af but this channel isn't dead yet. Thanks for your support.
I was in the scene at the time but being a 16 year old I didn't` have enough money to buy them unfortunately. Some records I have go for quite a high price though, but I I ain`t selling, they are part of my youth.
I bought the first Burzum on vinyl last year, a re issue as I care less about the print, it's about the music first and foremost.
haha cat made my day 😻
This was your best video yet! These are some of the rarest and most sought after records in all of metal. Great video!
Thanks man. They are definitely pretty hard to find and most important, total classics of the genre.
The burzum album is incredible
the other guy :ddd
Cat content!
Unholy Forces of Felines
@@OldSchoolMetalVinyl And they're cute. :D
If I could get any item from this video, I would probobly choose the cat XD
Understandably so since it's a ridiculously limited edition, rare & OoP. Only one copy pressed.

I arrieve to u channel, 'cause a comment u do in a Rauta's video on the Nargaroth interview, against Drowning the Light, u nailed man!!! nice collection bro, I suscribe to you channel , hope to see more of u collection, regards.
Thanks for the feedback man, sure more video will be uploaded soon. Keep it loud and heavy
Love this video! Nice cat haha
Subbed, liked, shared. I hope you keep doing this
@@royalrampagenews9179 thanks! Yes more videos will come and I have plans to expand the channel. I'm a lazy ass but not done with this yet.
Ship me your cat
Great video, will probably never own any of these records but the information is very interesting. I'm happy with the cheap reissues sitting in my collection
Thanks man. Music comes first ofc, pressings are irrelevant as long as you're enjoying what you're listening to 🤘keep rocking
@@OldSchoolMetalVinyl Thanks for your reply, of course the music is the most important. I appreciate the rarity and collectability of these items but as a 24 year old without the funds they are near impossible to acquire. Cheers to you for taking the time to exhibit these amazing records! It seems like they are in good hands.
@@bernardbutje5967 sure. To be perfectly honest I would never spend those insane amounts of money on a record no matter how good nor recommend anyone to do that. In the end they're just bits of plastic and they're not coming in the grave with you, you can do just fine with cds and reissues and invest your hard-earned money in other activities. Thanks again for your compliments, they really mean a lot.
That burzum vinyl is worth thousands lol
Sold it for €2500
@@OldSchoolMetalVinyl hell yeah good for you
🖤🖤🖤
records 2 😁
What country are you from? Love your voice.Man Id do anything to get all those records.I mostly want the Burzum debut and abruptum.
Thanks man. I'm Italian, which explains my terrible accent.
@@OldSchoolMetalVinyl sei italiano fratè
Printing error is the color issue. same as deathcrush
Nice collection! Are the record labels on your copy of Aske on the wrong side?
They are on my copy I purchased back in 1994.
I did see a copy a few years back sold at auction that stated the same, with the seller also stating that they were aware of at least another 3 copies that exist.
Makes me wonder if all copies were mis-labled in this way & that few fans or sellers have noticed the error.
Yes, that's how it was pressed. Side A was actually side B and vice versa. I forgot to mention it in the video.
Cool man, thanks for reply.
I did briefly own an original copy of De mysteriis on vinyl when it came out, didn't like the vocals & took it back to the store & swapped it for something else.
This was at the time when I didn't have much cash & was transitioning from buying vinyl as my medium of listening to cd.
The irony is that after buying Live in Leipzig on cd & getting into the songs found there I gave De Mysteriis another shot but on cd, & now love the album, & think Atilla's vocals add to it's brilliance & individuality.
I also passed up back in those days on vinyls of Leipzig, Hvis Lyset & others buying them on cd only.
Damn! I feel stupid now I can tell you! Lol!
I have however treatmyself to the De Mysteriis 25th anniversary vinyl boxset though & very nice it is too! \m/
@@noneofyourbusiness6326 we all did that sort of mistakes. I still kick myself in the balls for letting an original Ved Buens Ende - Written in Waters 2lp go for close to nothing. Sold two copies of the original Storm of the Lights Bane for less than what I would nowadays get for one. There was just no way to tell some records would have become such rarities. And yes, Attila's vocals pissed a lot of people off back in 1994 that's for sure.
As for the DMDS box set: I saw it and tbh I think it's a cash grab. Dont see the point with spending €130 on a bunch of rehearsals that I will spin once or twice.
@@noneofyourbusiness6326 attilas vocals are amazing bruh
@@hvmanbandofficial Hell yeah man! Such a unique & individual style that I grew to love!
Do you collect smaller underground albums aswell?
I'm mainly into metal classics, with some exceptions. But tbh I don't look upon myself as a collector at all, I just buy the records I like and was lucky to be around when most of this stuff was released \m/
@@OldSchoolMetalVinyl Your accent sounds cool to me.Would not have you were Italian though. This DSP collection is legendary man,Could you also upload your gold goat Bathory vinyl?I would love to see that and some more black metal content
@@lord_ov_vermin4941 it's in the plans. I'm currently abroad but when I'm back home I'll definitely upload more stuff, including more oldschool black metal.
I sold my Abruptum orginal DLS vynil (the 2nd print, but who gives a damn) like twenty years ago, and i still regret! Fuckin' stupid me! I could have bought Merciless debut back in the day, but i just got it by tape trading - fuckin' stupid me! My Burzum s/t cd came with scratches upon the "mirror" side, and i couldn't listen to it properly (and i guess that some cd's has been voluntarilly vandalized by Euronimous or some other cunt hating "the Count"). Fortunately, i kept my vinyl copy of "Deathcrush", and the d of "De Mysteriis..". And, above all, the masterpiece of Sigh, on cd: "They will regeret /the 10th planet/ the king of destruction now has come!!!". Can't remember if i still own the Enslaved debut cd.
