JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE BREAKS SILENCE TO SELL MERCH! Returns to Social Media After Hamptons DWI Arrest
The 43-year-old singer - who was arrested early last week for allegedly driving while under the influence in the Hamptons, New York - is currently on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour in the US.
He took to his social accounts on Wednesday to promote his merchandise.
In his first post since the incident on June 17, Justin has shared a reel revealing special T-shirt designs for his back to back gigs at Madison Square Garden.
In the video, the Cry Me A River hitmaker held up the orange and blue shirt and said: 'This is so important right now. Let's go. Got y'all's Knicks colors. We had to do it.'
He wore a black outfit with a black cap as he had his wedding band from Jessica Biel on his wedding finger. Although he has kept quiet on social media after his arrest, he did return to the stage on Friday for a gig at the United Center in Chicago, where he addressed the incident for the first time.
He said: 'This (tour) is just something that keeps watching over me, more so on this tour than any other.
'And that's that mostly all of us here in this room tonight, in this arena tonight, have grown up together.
'So many of you come up to me and say, "I grew up with you, man."
'I want each and every one of you to know I've grown up with you,' the performer added.
'You have been such a big and beautiful part of my life and sometimes I can't find the words to show my gratitude that you guys just keep riding with me and riding with me.'
The Sag Harbor Police Department said in a statement on June 18 that Justin had been 'observed operating a 2025 BMW southbound on Madison Street, failing to stop at a duly posted stop sign and failing to maintain his lane of travel' in the early hours of the same day. He was determined to be 'operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition' and arrested, processed and held overnight for morning arraignment.
Justin was charged with two citations for running a stop sign and failure to keep in lane and with one count of DWI told the arresting officer: 'I had one martini and I followed my friends home.'
The singer's attorney Edward Burke Jr said in a statement: 'Mr Burke looks forward to vigorously defending Mr. Timberlake against these allegations.
'He will have a lot to say at the appropriate time. He is currently awaiting full discovery from the DA's office.'
On Tuesday, his wife Biel was seen without her wedding ring on when in NYC to film The Better Sister.
But later in the day, the 7th Heaven actress slipped the ring back on. Justin Timberlake has sold his 126 acre Nashville estate for a cool $8million - as the fallout from his shock DWI arrest last week continues.
The Cry Me A River hitmaker, 3, first listed the plot in Franklin - located about 20 miles south of Nashville and just a few hours from his hometown of Memphis - in August last year for $10million.

The Grammy winner was mid-concert Tuesday in New York City when he paused to announce that the “GOAT,” or greatest of all time, was among the crowd at Madison Square Garden. The “Goodfellas” director, meanwhile, endearingly leaned into the moment.
“I hope this doesn’t embarrass him too much, but I’m sorry man, I gotta do this,” Timberlake said onstage Tuesday, per footage on social media. “The GOAT came to see me, the one and only Martin Scorsese. So many family and friends but … I see some new faces, too.”

The singer is set to conclude his New York City dates of the Forget Tomorrow World Tour with one more show Wednesday at the Garden. The 43-year-old former boybander might have been referring to a litany of past actions that have come under scrutiny in recent years. Britney Spears’ memoir, The Woman in Me, released last year, depicted her famous ex as a cheater and the reason she got an abortion, and said he played guitar at her as she writhed on the floor in pain after the procedure.

Who the F sells merch to immortalize the time that you were drunk driving? Something is very wrong. People have actually died from drunk driving. Justin can’t downplay this. Why was he even driving?
