@@vaporhtrail4350 nah, they just won't sponsor anyone through the academy, and only take people who have already paid the 3-5k and already successfully completed the academy. I don't even think it would even put a dent in the state's budget given the state is always the most well trained, and best equipped, and the state could always apply for federal assistance as well, on top of the other loans that they could apply for.

I noticed that as well GREAT job!
This happened in my backyard. The guy who was killed by the suspect was actually tryin to help what he thought was a person who crashed into the building due to some sort of medical issue and was shot and killed. The suspect died a few hours later at the hospital after emergency surgery. I know the 2 officers involved and appreciate how quickly they handled the situation and eliminated the threat. I have a lot of friends and family who work at the Walmart DC.
I hope there has been the appropriate amount of women and drink gifted upon those warriors, for the job they did 😁

The only issue i can really see is that the first officer had a bit of a disconnect in listening to the second officer while ordering the shooter. But damn good training.

My hands are already shaking so hard from adrenaline in a pistol shooting contest. Thankfully I did 173/200 15m with a .22. mostly 8&10

One of my husbands sons works at the Red Bluff Walmart DC - his friend called him and said don’t come in - there’s an active shooter.
The guy who was murdered by the shooter originally went to HELP the guy because he thought he had an accident. The shooter shot him in the face in front of his wife for his efforts. Seriously sad.

Should've shot at the first opportunity with a clean shot, but still, good job knowing the difference between cover and concealment and getting the job done.
He did, which is why the suspect was hit. The other employee was killed before police even arrived.
No, what if that had been a law abiding citizen that was engaging the active shooter? The officer wasn't in imminent danger from the shooter a command was appropriate.
What he did was perfect. Issue a command when the person is not an immediate threat requiring immediate action. The shooter took cover instead of following the commands, and when he did he was shot while still visible, the officer stopped when he lost sight of his target, regained sight and issued more orders as again the shooter was not a threat requiring immediate action, and this time he listened. Then asked for less lethal from the other responding officer, making sure he knew the shooter had dropped the weapon as the second officer couldnt clearly see.

Have you seen the body camera footage for the 22 year veteran out of Michigan that let a suspect get with in touching range?
I did that was crazy but she miss a lot of those shot in close range before her gun jammed. She was pushing the gun like fighting with recoil I see these on female officers a lot, instead of just point an aim and take you shots accurately but whatever she got to go home to her family that’s what matters.
