I just got a Garmin watch last week as I'm a new runner (3 months of training) Used the Pace Pro plan and dropped my 5k time from 22:16 - 21:36 on a much tougher course. It's a great tool
That is a cool feature I have never tried before. I see where you can create a course by plotting it out. Wish there was a way you could just pick one of your previous runs as a course without having to plot it out. Thanks for the very helpful tip.

This might be more anxiety inducing than not using it! Lol but I'll probably be using this for the New Haven Half in a week!
Good luck next weekend! I may stop by to spectate and 🎥 Let me know how you like it! Also, say hi if you see me there!
Unfortunately, the Garmin Forerunner 245 doesn't have maps or audio prompts, but I can still use Pace Pro and find it very helpful. Cheers!
Thanks for checking in! Glad you're finding Pace Pro useful 👍

You're welcome, Joe. I agree with you on the inability to use previous courses.
