Those are not reverse knees. Those are ankles. Protoss are digigrade stance bipedal. The ball of the foot is most of the "foot" while the "heel/ankle" is what most people think are reverse knees. This misconception persists in many other fictional characters like werewoves.
Actually, I _think_ Protoss may indeed have double knees. Or at least they don't seem to be true digitigrades. If you look at the art at 2:45, their feet have heels that rest against the ground, meaning they don't exclusively walk on their digits. And while it's hard to tell for sure, the bone structure and musculature of the "ankle" looks a lot more like that of a proper lower leg on a plantigrade. This all seems like deliberate design choices since a decent creature designer would know how digitigrade anatomy works. So, ironically, Protoss look like digitigrades but apparently aren't. And keep in mind that these are fictional aliens, so their anatomy doesn't need to correspond to that of any terrestrial life form.

The terrans weren't even in the running of being considered, with kerrigen being an exception because of her overmind tampering to free the Zerg from Amon, being not part of amons tampering. Seems like the overmind just wanted the psychic abilities to severe the psychic chains of Amon, but couldn't get it's hands on a protoss psychic, so settled for a human psychic. So no? The infested terran hybrid might have been purity of essence... Thru kerrigen queen of blades, but idk if that's a good thing for terrans. Her being the next xel naga actually makes little sense aside from needing to finish a story.

I didn't like how there was a mismatch between Protoss lore and the storyline. Basically the Protoss are ALREADY at the Xel'Naga level but due to certain flaws led to them not performing up to par. Both in story and in-game the Protoss were written as a 3rd race, but they really are not - let me elaborate. I would have re-written Starcraft with a TWIST - the Xel'Naga were Protoss the whole time. THIS also satisfies the purity of form criteria. So essentially the tentacle-faces or the final Xel'Naga design didn't matter - their faces opened up and inside were Protoss. They would never die - like how Tolkien Elves went to Valinor and could still return. This would require some reworking of the Khala - so the downloading of memories to robots was just an inferior replication of what they could achieve. This approach would have saved all the brainstorming needed to come up with Xel'Naga - so they were just Protoss with expanded powers and could even utilize Hybrids as weapons. Yep - basically Hybrids are just Zerg with expanded powers. So there you have it - my version of things - Xel'Naga were really Protoss and Hybrids were just augmented Zerg.

Yup, StarCraft 2 is not even a blizzard game. Yes it may be written blizzard but just look at it: 1. the story telling is not in the style of blizzard 2. Jim Raynor is not the same person that we all know and love, he is not even speaking the way he used to be 3. the gameplay (the way you control your units) is at best the same as the original SC. Instead of improving it by giving you more precise control of the sub-groups and the spellcasting units in a group/sub-group, they didn't even tried to improve it - playing it safe by not taking chances to improve your products in order to make them better, is not a sign of a blizzard product 4. the art work is not designed by blizzard, it's different somehow This game is made by activision who bought blizzard, and they've just put the name of our beloved developer on the label in order to deceive us, to make us buy it. Also i don't really like games that require you to have an internet connection in order to play them. This is sign of a bad game, and that you don't really own it.
