I find panning at home fun and relaxing, and seeing that beautiful Gold in the pan never gets old! It's always exciting even when you know it's going to be there. It has a lot of value! It just depends on “what” you value. I never even thought about gold panning before one of Shane’s videos randomly popped up for me to watch. The more I watched, the more I was hooked. I enjoyed watching, and yes, learning about panning and prospecting. So much so I started buying his paydirt and it has been the best hobby I’ve ever had! It really helps pass the time, relaxing, and it gives me something to do in the winter months when I can’t be outdoors. The value for me is priceless! Plus I get to support a good guy and a veteran in the process!

This is the 1st gold video I ever watched, or even heard of. I WAS HOOKED IMMEDIATELY! A month later, I have dirt from 7 vendors already. My FIRST bags came from my mentor, The Klesh, of course 😂

Just bought a beginners bag and as soon as I opened it I was happy. Found gold without panning it. Looks like I got a large amethyst crystal as well as a pure quartz chunk. On top of the guitar pick and wheat cent.

I love the gold and your reviews, one thing to point out is he sent it to you direct. I dont trust that being a true sample of his product. It would be nice to see a purchase thru your normal process of buying paydirt. You basically broke even and someone like myself would not get that kind of an ROR

Several questions, Shane:
Does Gold Bay give any indication of the source of the gold?(I have poor internet connection & can't usually get to websites)
Have you ever had this or other gold tested for purity? (Virtually never is natural gold found to be pure; Clear Creek is usually 990 Fine, but lower in most other places)
IS THIS ACTUALLY NATURAL PLACER GOLD, or are the nuggets, pickers, and coarse gold faked and added? (Their advertising seems to indicate a LOT of 'salting'; some of the larger nuggets seem to have flat spots, indicating they possibly were created by melting and pouring into water, wax, or some other medium)

Yeah I know Dave and he mines all of this gold himself with his crew of miners. All of the gold is natural I can tell you that is 100% true, as I’ve found lots of very flat gold in BC and chunky gold in Alaska.
KleshGuitars Cool! He must have a helluva good placer claim (for which BC has been known for a long time! Bonanza Creek comes to mind). But when you pay extra for "added gold", I'm guessing they weigh out a proper amount from their production (minus of course their profit margin) and just add it in? I'm going to have to come by your shop after my truck is fixed to see what you have there!
(Oh, btw,...you know anyone who repairs guitars? Got a 1957 Gibson semi-hollow body single mag pickup that the neck is breaking away from the body!)
Fred, I am originally from BC myself, chased "Jolly Jacks Lost placer" most of my teen years. I live in Cali now at my own hard rock gold mine. I also own and finance placer mines in Idaho and AK. All my gold is 100% genuine and all my products are 100% guaranteed for ANY reason. I could not offer the 100% money back (Including shipping) if I was selling "junk". I am proud of the reputation I have built over 23 years full time in this business and am not going to ruin it by shady practices. I worked my whole life to be where I am. Every bag is in fact salted. I am not shy about admitting that. ANYONE who has ever gold mined and or prospected and panned knows that in 3 pounds, or 10 pounds or 15 pounds in nature you are LUCKY to get a few flakes

Why buy it if theyre just adding gold to to it its unnatural i get it because people want to learn the craft but idk i just dont like the idea. Its like the kid mining bags at amusement parks and carnivals
