I found you thru Levi, first time viewer. This is why it’s now on my bucket list to fly to the other side of the world and see this breath taking place at least on time in my life. The hard part is, the hard part... these guys are extremely fit and can combat things like others can't.
It's not that easy.. I've been to Tassie twice but after realising personal circumstances prohibit me from trying what they do I have up and settled for nice shiny sapphires.
I'm not in any thing for personal gain I thought I might add, it's all for my cabinet which will be my daughter's one day... well done rob! And Levi too with his grabs. You guys kick ass and the level of respect you portray for the surrounds leaves me In envy.. not even joking.

What's the name of the stuff you put the dark gold in to clean it up?
Took me 2 years to find any gold in the uk but I never gave up and now I find it everytime I go out. Thanks for inspirational video it spurs me on to do even better !

I live on the isle of man and apparently we have white gold but I've never heard of anyone finding it in rivers that said doesn't mean its not there, would it be as easy to see as normal gold??

Insane man that’s a hell of a deposit. Can’t wait to see the next episode. Thanks to you and Levi I’ve gotten into prospecting here in Tas haven’t found any gold yet but the places I’ve been swinging my gold monster around pretty epic. Got some cool old timer relics amd also have a nice lil collection of sapphires. I love the adventure and keen to start sniping next summer.

On those dark pieces you found; we have gold here on some streams in Alaska that is similarly colored and we call it black gold, it’s because it’s coated in manganese.

Amazing finds Rob, and what an epic adventure. I don’t know if you’d consider it but I believe it’d be worthwhile packing in a hammer and chisel/crowbar to break up some more of that bed rock. Especially in the bedrock at about 25 min in there’s going to be A LOT of gold hiding deep in those cracks.

Love the piece of philosophy at the start to this video. I've often thought very similar thoughts myself when out exploring, and almost always again whilst watching your (and Levy's) videos. Yes I think you've cracked it, you are taking full advantage of you life and doing so by exploring areas even close to home, but places so few others have the inspiration or even possibly courage to visit?
Truly some gorgeous scenery to boot that has to be a great reward, even without the gold aspect. And finally it looks as though the exercise is good for you as well!
