What is that blade type called? I have a short sword with a very similar design (no holes in the blade) and have always wanted to know what to call it.
I'm curious too. He leaves it in there until it's fully cooled each time it seems. To speed up the cooling using cold sand, or to slow it down using the sand as an insulator?
Very good looking machete!!!Can you please tell me the steels that you use?I would like to see you make from a bearing a big bowie/machete/sword its very good reusable steel|(for me the best)!
You have skills!! Best knife making I've seen on UA-cam. Love watching you work. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing

This looks like traditional Damascus or Wootz steel. I'm curious to know what types of steel were used? Absolutely stunning and masterful work of art.

Beautiful machete, very impressive
Loved the video! Just one question, what is the mask he is wearing?
Is there a place to buy some of the things he makes? A store online? This has to be the greatest machete I have ever seen.
Nice job as always, not sure on the spray of sparks onto the can of wd though😬
Jaw dropping craftsmanship
a great work!
It’s so cool to watch metal get pounded into shapes!
I gotta say, your stacked billets pre forge weld are quite pretty.
Nice! Can anyone tell what length size of the blade and the handle of the machete in this video please? Thanks
Nice work: what would the price be for that masterpiece?
MAN thats good work.
Can someone tell me what the powder is and why he seems to be brushing it off right after?

Top, Bela obra de arte
Koji rad, trud....odlično!
What does the sand do? Is it a cooling method perhaps?
I'm curious too. He leaves it in there until it's fully cooled each time it seems. To speed up the cooling using cold sand, or to slow it down using the sand as an insulator?
What is the functional point of the holes? I would think it diminishes the strength of the blade for barely any weight lost. Is it just a style thing?
Bravo👍
What's the purpose of the holes in the blade right at the contact chopping point, and why is the handle area so long?
Muito very good dadá !
Muito linda.🇧🇷
Awesome work ! If you read this, please try to make an Egyptian khopeshi svord ... Thanks !

The handle is too crooked..make it straight it will be more comfortable to use it....the steel is so good and i love your finishing touch.

I want this will you sell it ?
what is the powder technique you used when building the billet? I haven't seen anyone placing it in the powder box before
May I know sir....why you make holes in the machete
Kurnish Dutta I’m guessing instead of a fuller, to make the blade lighter, he put holes in for presumably the same purpose
Okok
