Used the software with my dt 990s when i first got them. I didnt like the sound of the dt 990s at first cus they felt so bright and it felt like the mids were lacking. Then i tried the sonarworks With it. It felt flat but i didnt like it cus it just felt weird and unreal , Plus the latency from the sonarworks software . I ended up getting used to the dt990 without the software.Guys one thing about online reviews you would never really know how good a gear is till you try it out yourself. But after a while you would get used to the headphone. But overall most headphones kinda sound really similar. When u upgrade or change headphones especially you would need to take a while to get used it, but you might be disappointed at first
The DT 990s are very bright like I said yes and I`m sure some people find that okay and I also had to get used to the flat response I mostly use it on one pair and without on my other headphones just to keep a balance.I agree that with most gear it is best to try it before you buy because we all like different things. Thanks for the comment JEBJOSH🙂
I’m glad to see this comment cause I was wondering myself if it was gonna cause latency was thinking how the hell would it work without it affecting latency. So can you please tell me what kind of computer your working on like what year pc or Mac? Because if your working off a newish computer then it for sure isn’t gonna work on my 2013 MacBook Pro
Would it be possible to use this software to tune a cheaper pair of headphones to a flat frequency to be able to turn them into headphones capable of mixing and mastering vocals? Say maybe like a pair of audio technica 20x? I know it’s better to mix on open back but if you had to on a pair of closed what headphones would u recommend in a 50 to 150$ price range. And after recording / tracking could this software make them subtle for mixing vocals ? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Just discovered u and enjoying videos
I watched millions of video about these, only a black guy will get to the real practical, most other just talking, black need our own platform UA-cam hides certain channels.
Thanks broe yam this was useful❤👌🏾🎶🎵🔥🔥🔥
Glad it helped

Your mic is incredible.
I am listening to this through my calibrated Beyedynamic DT 770 Pro 800 Ohm via SoundID!

Without a doubt this software is proper to have. I’m curious to know how the HD 650’s compare to the DT 990’s? Thanks in advance. Blessings
must I make a video of how the HD 650’s compare to the DT 990’s?

Using sonarworks, my translates are brighter, which customer complaints, is there anything wrong with sona?

What audio interface to drive dt 990 pro 250ohm?
I currently use Audient Evo 4 and it drives them well.
Sounds really good

Its not a substitute to acoustic treatment, bare that in mind. Its supposed to fix minor issues after that
Do you mean speaker or headphone calibration?
@@XDizzleMusic Speaker. A room with a lot of comb filtering is a problem, and room modes problems need more attention
@@scientificsoul2602 That's so true, what company can you recommend for acoustic treatment?
@@XDizzleMusic Foamrite acoustics. It has a profile for each foam, on how it treats frequencies
@@scientificsoul2602 Will look them up thanks dude🙂
