I got homeless and isolated after I got out, seems easy just sitting around but constant isolation and boredom will literally make you start loosing your mind, your start talking to yourself and shit to stay sane ironically.

Actually had a recruiter at my school today.
He was a Ssgt. And he did talk about income a bit, but his biggest selling points were career options and travel.
He wasn't bragging or glorifying anything much except he did enjoy talking about his experiences.

I'm about to take the asvb test today I hope I can get in I always wanted to be in the army and meet different people to train together and become brothers of arms. And also this channel makes me feel confident and not to stress out about failing. So I thank you man and keep make these hilarious videos.

Nah this is legit true af. I spent 12 years in the army and from June until last month i was homeless living in a tent in a parking lot. Now i have a cashier job at a supermarket and have a place to sleep, but its been a rough ride.

MegaBestoffer it’s easy as hell to happen. Like I wanted to go into law enforcement after being an MP but where I live you gotta know someone high up to get into any of the academies around here. Other then law enforcement I don’t have much of a background so I’d be working low end jobs where I could. Then one thing leads to another and I was homeless. Don’t talk shit about it like it’s impossible bruh especially when it happens to veteran more then anyone else. It sucks but it’s a sad fact a lot of jobs don’t want war time veterans because they have a stigma of PTSD and that’s real shit. But please tell me more about everything the army did for me after 12 years that could have saved me from being homeless. Especially how I was blown up in Afghanistan yet I’ve been fighting the VA since 2013 to get my disability for my back, sleep apnea and hearing loss. But again please go on about all the great shit the army gives us for setting us up for success after the military....
I wish I could join back. Better than the civilian world. Infantry's skills are worthless here and It's all I've got. At least I'm being compensated for PTSD, and have a decent living. I'm trying poetry now lol, future looks dark and mean haha

McLarenBMW I’d say people who enlist in the military are smarter than those who just go to college and have endless debt. It’s more difficult to join the service than to go to school, and many enlisted personnel go on to get useful degrees with their GI Bill after their time in the military. Just because someone feels a sense of patriotism and duty to their country doesn’t make them a “pea-brained imbecile”. I’d take a veteran over some random civilian any day of the week. At least I know the veteran is dedicated, and willing to sacrifice personal comfort to support those around them.

I'm doing all of these things right now of just sitting on my lazy ass doin nothin and can't decide to enlist this Summer like all of those recruiters keep telling me, or if I should do it after I have my High School deploma. I'm so confused on what to do and if the Army is the right choice.
Not sure if I'm what they want anyway, I'm 17 and a Junior and I look like I'm a Sophomore and only about 5' 11 to 6' and they'll probably think I'm stupid or didn't respond fast enough to orders. I don't know if I'll look like a four year old to a bunch of other guys at Benning and I'm worried that I'm not even a serious choice. I have great upper body strength and with power lifting but pull ups seem to be a bit of a problem but I can keep pushing myself. I'm not sure what to do but hopefully things can change for the better

My recruiter promised me a mustang gt, got a v6, nice barracks like a 5 star hotel, barracks is worst the a motel, have the weekends off, never had a weekend off since coming back from the field for 3 weeks!
