How effective have campaigns against sexism been?

Sadiq Khan's 'Say Maaate to a Mate' campaign has been the subject of some debate this week. I used that as a jumping off point to discuss gender issues more broadly with the people of Sheffield. Thank you to Sarah for being kind enough to stop and say yes to my request for an interview.
