Every self proclaimed feminist I've ever met has been an outright man hater. In my experience, that is what feminism is.

Interesting. I and the women around me have called ourselves feminists, based on the definition we learned in highschool. Being: striving for a better position for women in society. Trust me, we had no idea how f*cked up today's feminism has become!! That's why we no longer call ourselves feminists, the movement is too toxic and is harming both men and women. I wouldn't be surprised if more women you know whom call themselves feminists are in the same boat as me. As in, not aware of modern toxic feminism and going by the innocent definition of a couple of decades ago.

The most abusive and vitriolic relationship I have ever been in was with a feminist.
She ruined me. Lied about me to my friends, coworkers, employer and even the police. I spent months with a DV on my record, because of her lies. It took me thousands of dollars to fight it. Only when she admitted in open court that she made it all up to get back at me for breaking up with her, because of her feminism, was it removed. And what was her punishment for doing this to me? For putting me through hell and ruining my good reputation? Nothing! I cant work in my favorite industry ever again because of the baseless lies and accusations she leveled against me.
You should have sued her for defamation and the damage you suffered.

Aspen hired a whaman sound engineer because competence is secondary to gender equity.
I am a woman and I know how to fix this sound problem both live and post. Sound engineering isn't that difficult to learn. The problem is that many events don't realize they need a sound engineer at all and just have some intern plug in the mics and hope for the best. Hire a competent sound engineer. Gender unimportant.
The mic is in the wrong place, she is off axis for a lot of the time. I suspect though, that the person attaching the mic may have felt embarrassed in attaching it where it would pick up the best.
To be fair a lot of female vloggers sound awful because they refuse to have a mic up close because it ruins the shot. Cleavage and potted plant/ flowers/ fairy lights / cushions are perfectly framed...... but they sound like they are shouting from the far cubicle in a tiled bathroom.
Also lots of female vloggers point the mic the wrong way (treat a side address mic as a front address mic).
As for the men ..... they love to have a six kevlar reinforced pop shields stacked in front of their mic that is off to the side anyway.

TOP TIP: Best way to listen to crappy audio is through crappy speakers (laptop etc). Or lay your headphones on the pillow beside you and turn them up.

for my entire life I have heard how women are good and men are bad. i am tired of being told its my fault that women don't succeed. especially considering all the legal and social advantages women receive (i.e. vast majority of child custody cases, custodial sentencing, reproductive freedom, social controls, body integrity a given, the Duluth model, etc.)

Wow, it's almost like the anti-feminists were right all along. Men and women are not equal. We have different desires and different skills. Most women are not happy having having casual sex. Most women are not happy having a career to the detriment of having a family. What is sad is that our society doesn't tell young women this, so they have to find out from experience. Sometimes they can course correct before it's too late; more often women are permanently damaged.
BTW men also want to have a family and men also want meaningful sexual relationships. It is a matter of degrees. Traditionally the man put more focus on a career and women put more focus on the family. The synthesis of this is harmony. One isn't better than the other and both are needed to have a society.

@The Page Collective I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. My point was that the manossphere doesn't hate women, which was opposing the view put forth in the video. Men (I believe) and in particular in the manosphere don't (generally) hate women. If anything, they understand more and are simply indifferent as a result. That's not hatred, but because women suddenly realise men aren't caught up in their solipsistic view of the world, it must be hatred. So typically, any lack of "playing the game" women see must be explained away and devolved to an emotional response "you just hate women." That's what the lady did. It's simplistic and uneducated.

I called myself a feminist since the day I understood the concept. However, about ten or so years ago, I started distancing myself from the term because I simply can't agree with most of what these supposed "feminists" say these days.
Man... I rooted for every female lead in movies. I was a huge Danica Patrick fan, I wanted to see her in F1. I wanted to have a daughter specifically, which I got and I love her so much. Yet somehow I don't like the term feminism anymore.

Becoming a dad was one of the best things that ever happened to me. And I'm a stay-at-home dad, so I might actually relate to you more then most men (sorry if that sounds pretentious). My grandfather taught me that a man has to have a wife and family, or people that he needs to fight for to protect a reason to grow up and men up. The reason why men have abandoned their responsibility for their families, community, and refuse to grow up is because feminist say they do want or need a man, "A WOMAN needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle". Since feminist have the loudest voice in the political arena this is what young men have to believe.

I'm tired of hearing this shit, I'm not 'behind' because i didn't marry and have children. I go to work, I pay my taxes, I create wealth for the economy. I don't have to create a baby and nurture a family to prove myself a man. Its not my fault other things in life turned out to be more enjoyable and financially fulfilling than marriage.
If you can't reproduce yourself genetically or culturally, you've failed the most basic test of a living organism. That doesn't make you less of a man, I agree. You have many contributions to make to society, not just children and family life. But "I work hard and pay my taxes" is just the admission fee into society, not the end game. If you were always built to become one of those men who never do anything more, fine; they're rare, but they've always existed - like those few ladies who actually have no interest in marriage or children, you deserve to live your life how you like based on your abilities. But don't expect society at large to cut off an important message to men in general because of your personal discomfort.

I've never had a worse relationship with both myself and other people (specially men) as when I called myself a feminist. It teaches you to see everything from the lens of disempowerment, contrary to what they preach. They don't respect women for who we are and wanna be equal to men in every respect. I am happy knowing I will be the most crucial factor in the survival and development of another human being. No amount of job prospects could top that.

I too became discussed with how hypocritical most feminists are in that they claim they want equality when most of them don’t really want to be equal to men in every respect but for me this realisation came as a real shock because I have always my whole life wanted to fully & truly equal with men. That realisation was an important part of ultimately coming to the realisation that I am in fact a trans man & have been much happier since I transitioned. I can appreciate the value of the traits women contribute to society but that has just never been me🤷🏻♂️ I am a proud combat vet, an avid gun enthusiast, have been a competitive athlete in multiple sports, have been a pretty extreme daredevil since an early age & am one of the most competitive people you could ever meet! More importantly even though I am bisexual, in my romantic relationships whether they be with men or with women, I have always felt the need to be the one that was more of the protector & provider in the relationship. Before I transitioned I felt like the way I looked was false advertising because most of the people who were physically attracted to me, once they got to know me were totally put off by how masculine my personality is. I think it is important that society realise that although men & women are of equal value to society that they are quite different. However it is equally important to realise that there is somewhere between 0.5% to 1% of the population whose brains are wired pretty much the completely opposite of what we would expect based on their sex at birth & around 13% of the population that have brains that based on FMRI scans are not easily classified as either male or female; although given how unaccepting the world still is towards non binary people most of those people currently identify as simply gender non conforming it will be interesting to see if the world becomes more accepting of non-binary identifies whether that will shift🤔

Women in total produce less money than men in total, taking into consideration all women. The age of child bearing was pushed back more and more and currently is around the 30's, which is when women are required to make their profession/family balance decisions and are required one way or another to sacrifice their profession to some degree if they want to start a family due to pregnancy. This is the time when they are hit economically.
Affirmative action on the other hand (codified or conventional) extends to all women of all ages and had a significant influence on the hiring practices of young women, who just finished their basic and especially higher education. Which is why young women, who just got their degrees, get into more attractive and better paying positions than the corresponding demographic of young men. If cynical you could describe it as such: The older child-bearing women take the hit for the young women who don't have any credentials and start careers that will have less future potential than that of their male colleagues (which they later on might want to marry) because of them probably becoming one of the older child-bearing women later on, who then again take the hit for the next generation if the cycle persists. Women are encouraged to engage in sisyphean endeavors, young men are thrown under the bus and their potential is diminished, hurting the unity of men and women in the long run. If you want to work inefficient, that is how to do it.
What right do feminists want that they don't have? Poor women. I am glad there are no magazines showing idealised men (men's fitness) or unfair standards for men (over 6ft, wealthy, abs, broad shoulders, a full head of hair etc..
What few people acknowledge is that before the 2nd half of the 20th century Feminism was purely the territory of bored wealthy housewives who had the luxury of servants to handle the labor of maintaining a house and a family. Only after the invention of labor saving devices such as refrigerators, gas/electric stoves, washing machines, vacuum cleaners etc which reduced the time it took to handle household chores were women free enough to find other activities. Notice though that the choices for men today are the same as they were 100 years ago.

What gives a culture it's stability? When norms are adopted that lead to instability, who articulates the need for change to the masses. You ignore a few things. The first wave of feminism was all about re-establishing femininity. Women had been added to the work force for over 100 years before that. But then so were children. And what the first wave did, was remove women and children from the factory floor, in crease the power of the family by acquiring voting rights for women, and improve the lives of men by advocating better pay and social safety nets. Now, this is an interesting bit of data, because everything after that, has been a return to the factory floor. Most feminists, say that 50's women were unhappy slaves, but that's a fallacy; because they actually fought to keep the home.
Meanwhile, men stayed the same for a while. Then the third wave came, and men got very pissed off. In human civilisation, there's no time more dangerous than when men hate women. Because then, the most powerful human form, self weaponizes. This I think, is something that the 5th wave of feminist will have to deal with, and if young men today sustain the hate...humanity will never be the same. All because one person wrote a book, quietly eroded safety nets, under the guise of equality. Thus the entropy of the current civilization was accelerated.

It simply states that gender discrimination in higher education cannot exist in institution s that receive federal money. Because all schools want PERA grants, among others, they all comply. In the years since it has been amended to be about sexual violence and has severe provisions for mainly men who are convicted. The problem is that such indictments are illegal because universities are not law enforcement agencies. The list goes on. Peterson is a good source of information about this.
Equal pay does not exist because the wage gap doesn't exist. Businesses are all about making money. If they could legally get away with paying women less than men, why would they even hire men in the first place? They'd save MILLIONS, if not, BILLIONS in profit.
