In a sea of manufactured fake music here is a band who writes their material and plays their own instruments with one voice and no autotune. Wow!
As I took in their show the other night I wondered how many people realized that there’s only one vocal mic on the stage.

They sounded amazing!! I took my teenage sons to the concert in Columbia, MD! Love the fact I was able to expose them to the Cure and how much they appreciate this band from my childhood!
They are amazing, but I would LOVE to hear one of the other members singing some of the lines in a "Round" kinda like it sounds on the original single. This is still god tier though!
What an astonishing live performance, of this evergreen classic.
The Cure are without doubt one of the finest bands to ever come out of Britain.

Is that Perry playing guitar? Must be. It’s great to see him back with the band. I saw the band with Perry in Portland, Oregon when they toured to support Wild Mood Swings. Perry was amazing! Total wild man. He’s pretty sedate here but he’s got it when he wants it.

I was there! So glad they played charlotte sometimes. That one song made the whole show for me. Great setlist overall! Hanging gardens or one hundred years would have made it perfect.

A character in the 1969 book “Charlotte Sometimes” by author Penelope Farmer. Robert liked the story about a time traveling girl who has to deal with a dual existence across time.
