I couldn't believe how brilliant and beautiful these new songs are. I went to see them in Birmingham recently to hear them live again and it was a great experience.
Saw them 4 times on this tour , Geneva, London, toronto and montreal, outstanding shows . Roberts voice sounds better than ever

I seen you in the early 80's at UC IRVINE CRAWFORD HALL IN THE GYMNASIUM Best show ever ❤ My first boyfriend was a punker and we went to lots of shows had lots of fun I will always remember how I wanted to go up to the stage front center but your guitars were just way too loud cus it was a small venue but superb. We sat in the bleachers and it was a awesome experience LOVE THE CURE THANKS ROBERT I FRICKEN NEEDED THESE NEW SONGS SO MUCH RIGHT NOW YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I BEEN THRU WITH MY SOULMATE 😭😔 AND LOVED ONES PLEASE DONT STOP WRITING I LOVE THE NEW SONGS AND THE WAY YOU SING THEM ALSO THE BAND MATES SOUND AWESOME oh I must mention we seen you way before you SOLD OUT THE LA FORUM, YOU SAID YOU WOULDN'T DO BUT HEY WHEN YOUR A PRIZE BAND ♥️ IT HAPPENS😊

We do all realize this band is one of only a handful( literally, no more than 4,5 I say) that can go out on tour without promoting a new album, new 🎶; but yet grace is with new trax,as you've put together for us here- & at same time - Sell out Huge audiences worldwide without releasing ' that new record' in so many yr s. 3 of these already love,& we hope album comes out within next year or two. But,ain't it remarkable that if doesn't even happen, or that way, is fine ; as they've given so very much wonderful recording over the Decades. Peace, wellness out ,H.jr.

They are perhaps as good live as ever but anything since Bloodflowers has been a bit of an underwhelming flop. That’s probably why the album is a year late already. Come on BoB
@@AlternativeGuitars I just hope the album versions are as good as the live versions. Saw them in Los Angeles last month, and was very impressed. Still trying to figure out what Perry Bamonte does.

Endsong sounds like 60 year old Smiths Faith. I remember an interview where he said he didn’t want bits falling off of him in public as he got older. An amazing song.
I would like to hear some jangle pop like they did in the early years.

These songs aren't good enough for a cure album. Im pretty sure Robert feels the same way. I won't be surprised if this album never gets released. Sounds like the lost wishes cassette. Those songs weren't good enough for wish and these aren't good enough for the cure. Robert doesn't have it anymore.
I think Alone and Endsong are brilliant, have to see what songs end up on the album
Agree. Not a great suite of songs unfortunately. Endsong is my clear favorite.
Im so sick of seeing and hearing live songs and no new album to listen to i don’t believe there will be any new album in 2023 how when Robert and band is busy touring i don’t believe they have a new album its beyond absurd at this stage.

Keep the faith, I believe Robert’s plan is to re-record the songs with a match fit live band either at the end of the tour or breaks in between. The last couple of albums suffered from poor production even though there were many strong songs, so I’m hopeful the new album whenever we get it will sound more live and immediate.
In an interview for NME last February 2022 Robert said he has two albums in the works. One finished and one almost finished. He said the first one they plan to release which was supposed to be in September of 2022 was done and it's a gloomy album along the lines of Disintegration which I'm sure is the upcoming (if it ever comes) Songs Of The Lost World. The second album to be more upbeat and Pop sounding. Not sure what the game play is here playing new songs before a new album but I'm sure he's got it all planned out in some strange way lol
