- Afro Ricans #1 hit in the 80's Give It All You Got. still a fav song to dance to.. Although they never made a video for this song i took the video that they did make and edited it. sorry it was so messy. i did it all in 1 hour.
2 live Crew, MC Shy-D, LeJuan Love, Beatmaster Clay-D, Afro Rican….Ah the joys of a youth growing up in south Florida in the 80’s.
Who's still listening in 2024?
😀💙💥🎧
Me ❤we just to jam this in the club. All the time ❤
give give give give it all you got
Eu no Brasil!
It's a Banger❤
82' Trans Am... two 12" 800w subs in a custom box... Used to bump this all OVER the Bay Area...S.F., Oakland, Vallejo, San Jose... the good old days...lol
I forgot about this one but I'm gonna bump it on my way to wk in the AM here in SoCal 🙃
And listening to 106.1!
Nice to see people from all over were rockin' with Miami Bass.
I'm 55 still getting down to this
Ayyye this song brings back so many memories. House parties were banging in the 80s and early 90s.
Here from the year 2030 and still bumping this😎
This my momma jam!!! One time for the moms who introduced they kids to real music at a early age
Amen and thank you 😁.
Thank the lord for satellite radio cause they have the 90’s station that plays all of this old school music.
i agree..try to listen to some miami bass music from the mid 80s to around the 95 era!!...especially 'BASS OUTLAWS' just to start!!
yes we was in it in 85 made jr high days bomb wish they bring real music back
@@lorienaverill2009 what’s it called!! I need to hear it
This reminds me of the early days of Miami bass style songs like The 2 Live Crew Especially their 1st album🎶😎
Jam Pony Express baby!!!
I grew up in Miami, heard all the Miami Bass tracks that made national headlines. I actually played this track in my 1990 Mazda B2000 pickup extended cab with four 18" Rockford Fosgate subs powered by 2500 watts. I blew out two windshields and pissed off hundreds of people on the street and the Fort Lauderdale strip!
You had a minitruck? That’s badass!
Hopefully you had some PPI amps running the show lol!!
Hearing it even more in ‘24!! Skating rink memories from the 80’s for sure ✌🏼😎
I cannot get this song outta my head. My dad used to go off to this song. This is always gon be my jam.
Tu viejo tiene buenos gustos un abrazo.
He knows Great Classic 🎶 😂
Was one of my favorite songs back in the day!
FERGALICIOUS BROUGHT ME HERE
kraftwerk brought me here.
Me too 😂
I remember dancing to this song at the sixth grade dance in 1987 😊
87 or 86 or yes that was when 2 live crew won the lawsuit and the flood gates of rap took over the world
Dis is DJ Cruzr69r Topic from DDDALLAS Droppin these music videos for tha world 🌎 in tha 6-2024🎉🎉🎉

Grew up in The Phil illadelph. The music is timeless. What I like is the poetry will always tell you one thing you never knew
This song came to my head out of nowhere. And found it. Way back but so many good memories 😊 2023
them scratches where clean af thō😎🏁
Just another bad ass from the Bronx😆😆😆😆😆❤❤❤
Holy shit this is like the entirety of Fergalicious...
I guess the producers took the sampling of this song, because this song came out 10 years before Fergalicious
Do you like Fergalicious? Personally, I enjoy both songs and how much of this song was used in that song.
Yo..!! its more like it's been Over 20+ Years PRIOR to (the Bite/sample/Stealing/borrowing/whatevahh.) of Fergalicious.
I never knew that fergielicious sampled this song until recently
Original song is James Brown “Night Train”
Reminds me of my days at SDSU before I was 21… from ‘88 thru ‘91, my friends and I would trip down to Tijuana from San Diego and go to the nightclubs on Revoluccion for lots of dancing and drinking. 😜
Something I would NEVER want my own daughter to do nowadays, 😰
I still have this 12” in the racks. The jam!!!!
My friends and i had a synchronized skate routine we would bust out at the roller rink when this jam came on. Man this takes me back to blowing my money at Merry Go Round on 2-for-$50 I.O.U sweatshirts and Cavariccis..
We did cheerleading to this back in the day :)
What a Jam! Remember listening to this all the time back in the day. Great beats, awesome flow. Miss those days!
This song personifies the club scene in Baton Rouge and New Orleans during the late 80's when I was a sophomore at LSU! Great memories!!
Worldwide Every Where!!
Worldwide ❤❤❤😂
1987 when times seemed more fun...
There Were 6 Samples in the song:
Fergalicious’ by Fergie (feat. Will.I.Am) (2006)
-------------------------
1. ‘Supersonic’ - J.J Fad (1987) - (Which is the main melody of how the song flows through each verse and chorus.)
-------------------------
2. ‘Give It All You Got (Doggy Style)’ -
Afro-Rican’ (1987) - (Which are the vocals saying the lines: ‘Four, Tres, Two, Uno’ in the beginning & towards the end of the song.) (Also, the sound effects of the silverware clicking on glasses are sampled from this track too)
-------------------------
3. ‘Night Train’ - James Brown (1962) - (Which is the bass guitar riff used during the bridge of the song.)
------------------------
4. ‘The Rat Patrol Theme Song’ - Dominic Frontiere (1966) (Which is the violin 🎻 sound/riff used each chorus)
-------------------------
5. ‘It’s More Fun To Compute’ - Kraftwerk (1981) - (Which is the electronic keyboard sound used each time Will.I.Am does his spelling/freestyle saying the lines: (‘T to the A to the S T Y, girl, you tasty, T to the A to the S T E Y, girl, you tasty’) (‘D to the E to the L I C I O U S; D to the E to the’)
-------------------------
6. ‘I’m A Greedy Man’ - James Brown (1972) (This one is a little hard to catch, but it is the vocal sample saying: ‘Pick up on this!’ right after the Kaftwerk sample comes into play.)
-------------------------
Apparently "Throw the Dick" by "2 Crew" has also inspired Fergalicious
*"The 2 Live Crew" srry haha
You missed *Get Off" by Foxy.
I might be mistaken, but Fergie was barely a baby when this song was jammin'. I know cuz I was giving it all I got.✌🏽😎
This brings back good memories I was married to the guy (dancer) with the high top fade. I remember being there when this video was made.
Sure you were baby, I’m sure you were. 🙄

High top fade, boyyyyyy!
My childhood 💕
this was the last REAL hip-hop single! after this, everything was freakin' gangsta crap, booty rap and effing techno! after this, you never heard a DJ on a track. thanks for sharing. i'll be adding it to my funky beats playlist eventually.
that's what i'm talking about. to me, 2LC is new jack. as to afro rican, i have the 12" and consider THAT to be the last REAL hip-hop disc & it takes 2 & the humpty dance were the last gasps before clubs were polluted by freakin' technotoronic, snap & C+C music factory. i STILL hold a grudge against house music for starting that ball rollin' and think there should be a death penalty for ANY techno head that dares use the word funky. (or at least spank them REALLY REALLY hard for a few weeks)
new jacks. never liked tone loc and i consider the other two more or less one hit wonders, but young MC's lesser known "i let 'em know" instrumental is rockin'. the REAL post new jack hip-hop is C2C, giant panda & the ninja tunes crowd in my opinion
i don't know that artist, but i've never liked MCs. i've hated rap since rappers delight. the first 12" i bought was "it's like that" so i could hear run DMC STFU on the instrumental... which they didn't and really only like one eric b tune... chinese arithmatic because rakim isn't on it.
i hate rap. i used to have a youtube channel with about 300 rare grooves no-one else had posted. pretty much every one of them was an instrumental, just like my current funky beats playlist.
@@rare_grooves_shack_1983 Where's that channel?
I can hear fergalicious through this......
Dam this shit still hits!!!!!!!!
Love the sampling of "Get Off" by Foxxxy.
We had this on vinyl! It's my favorite song to run to

Dancing back then was such a cardio workout.
I was born in 1989, and I heard this song way before Fergalicious! Nothing compares to the original, this is still hard af! Aged well.. must be that 808 boi!!
yeah, but this aint that original either........ it samples james brown's night train and kraftwerk's its more fun to compute. fergalicious samples this and supersonic by jjfad. and it all circles back to kraftwerk.

Afro-Rican listening to Fergalicious: "stole my whole flow. Word for word, bar for bar"
yeah, but they stole james brown's night train and kraftwerk's its more fun to compute, heck, even the count of with the uno two tres four, comes from numbers on the same album, computer world 1981.
I've been searching for this all my life. blewss youtube.

What I was trying to say with that simple comment was "Hey look Fergalicious. So this is where that came from" ...but I guess my simple little comment was taken out of context. ...sigh.
