I almost didn't watch this video because it just looked like another plywood box, but in typical Laura K fashion, there was a lot more to it. Nice little build.
Again, a great idea ! Making the drawers take so much time when we just need cabinets to organize our stuff. Workshop carts are also quite handy. I need a new workbench. I thing I'm going to make this kind of storage underneath
What a great idea! I'm so amazed over all the small details like the submerged screw holes and your beautiful welding 😍 even though I have not access to work with such materials, your approach to these projects inspire me to have an equal amount of great details when I sew 🤗
Laura, really enjoy watching another woman work with her hands. I was 1st girl in high school to take wood shop (in the early 60s). Too bad I didn't stick with it. My absolute favorite large tool was the wood lathe. My best to you.
Okay, I seriously LOVE this project for a few reasons. The main reason is that you're upcycling a water container. I was surprised that you didn't connect the upper and lower halves with metal conduit (pipe) so as to use the structure of the frame itself to connect to the water supplies but perhaps that would overcomplicate the design or not work. It turned out so nice. I love that your neighbors donated some materials too. GREAT VIDEO! Thank you and #peace from Ottawa, Canada.
Its funny, that you and I are doing the opposite thing; a friend who works for German commercial plastic bin manufacturer, gave me a bunch of production rejects for me to use. Once, I built a real shop, the bins were no longer needed and gave most of them away to a house painter friend of mine! Love the build, it really hit home for me.
That's the video I waited for. :) I don't weld but a sliding crate case is doable. I like the writings "Thank you for the music" and "Thank you" at the CNC router - they communicate an inner feeling of gratitude which is a best position to give something to others from. :) Thank you, Laura, for the videos (and the ideas and inspiration in them). And for your smile while you're making stuff. :)
Gotta love Euro crates, I use them for everything. You can't usually find them in those nice colours though, maybe you could do a color coding system to find stuff even quicker!
I love you Laura. My life feels more complete having found you, and adding you to the regular mix. You are brilliant. Your craft is Always beautiful and clever and your video production and edit is 10 out of 10. A perfect execution. Thank you.
I probably won't be welding any time in the near future... but this is a great project. I have someone that will be teaching me and we are looking for a project. This might be a great one to start with.
I couldn't see if you already did that or not, but here is my suggestion for an improvement: Pulling out the crates from both sides is convenient, but sliding them in without a back can be annoying. Instead of a back, you could add small stops on both sides that the crates slide over when pushing them in, but stop the crate from sliding too far or sliding out when moving the tool cart
Or those pedantic people that get stuck on the fact that crates like these (and wooden pallets as well) can sometimes actually belong to a company and should have been returned to them. No one does but some people get annoyed about it lol.
because some people just was to see the world burn... and are too stupid to make that happen, and so give dislikes out on youtube to make themselves feel bigger
Looks great Laura! I like the way you built the rails for the crates to slide on. Now you have me rethinking my storage problem with bins that stack the same way :)
THAT'S IT! a drawer for tape! I've tried everything - strings, pegs, stacks. I'm making a drawer.....its final! Unless you/anyone have a better idea? fun project. beautiful editing as always.
haha, just like mine. Genius. The top one I made above the bars so if I need to stack more, so I can keep stacking. Funny to think how 2 seperate minds have same ideas
I love when you take rejected or discarded items and make them into useful works of art like this. You rock, Laura!
I loved the fact that you could shuffle the baskets and make Yoda quotes... "Give them purpose let's"
Hahaha!
Lol I was thinking the same thing!
Since the verb often comes at the end of a sentence in (normal) German, I don’t know if Yoda sounds funny to German people.
@@censusgary It does!
When Laura places the wood panel in the metal frame and it fits just right... Most satisfying part of the whole video.
Laura is wonderful
Love your tasteful worspace so many things to stare at

Looks so good Laura! Love the colors and the simplicity of them.
Smart, sleek and efficient! I love how the colors change as the sizes get bigger. Nice one!

I always say it's not what it is it's what it can become so it is always marvellous seeing you upcycling unwanted items into useful pieces..
They look great!
This is one of the most satisfying videos I have ever watched. Thank you for sharing!!!

Gotta love some good shop organization, but that gradient of colours makes it even better

The sound is awesome! :) Matching the video mood.
Feine Sache das!
I just don´t get it how someone can leave a `dislike´ ??? Amazing idea, great footage and edit dear Laura
Clearly it's because they are talentless and totally jealous of Laura's skill and creativity!!
Or those pedantic people that get stuck on the fact that crates like these (and wooden pallets as well) can sometimes actually belong to a company and should have been returned to them. No one does but some people get annoyed about it lol.
They might just have the phone upside down in their hands... 🙈🤣✌️
It may also be somone who was bothered by her screwing into the edges of the plywood.
That usually reduces the life of the ply drastically.
because some people just was to see the world burn... and are too stupid to make that happen, and so give dislikes out on youtube to make themselves feel bigger
Brilliant Laura
Ach wie schön, wieder ein kampftach 😎 Wuppwupp...swing... Mucke fein seien. Und: Sehr schönes teil! Steh voll auf sowas! Schönen Sonntag zusammen! :)

Another awesome build!! ❤️ love your ideas so much!
reuse reduce recycle ♻️ 👍
Epic. If they slide badly, silicone is a good lubricant for plastic. Candle or ski wax works too.
Thanks Laura.

haha, just like mine. Genius. The top one I made above the bars so if I need to stack more, so I can keep stacking. Funny to think how 2 seperate minds have same ideas
