thank you . first video that actually discusses installation instead of just unboxing
I’m glad it helped.
WHAT ABOUT THE INTERNAL WIRES THAT GO INTO THE CARD AND MOTHERBOARD?
Yeah that’s for your Bluetooth. I don’t know why I missed that in the video. I think I made another one about that. I can’t remember. The one side goes into a usb 3.0 header on the motherboard
hey remember that not all cases has the removable pcie cover plate because they have the break away cover plate on commonly the cheaper case and most OEM cases. So choose wisely on which one you want break away but at least you can put another cover plate by using a removable cover on the back of the case.
Great video, thanks!!!!
Have any questions let me know.
Thanks,i have one & was so confused
Thanks a lot 👍
Your welcome don’t forget to subscribe it’s free.
great video, thanks!
Good deal. Thanks. No problem. Any questions let me know.
Hey question how do you have over 2000 subs and no videos? I want to learn this trick. I’ve been at this over 2/12 years consistently uploading and I’m only at 1260. lol
ha i totaly nvr realized i had a on x slot above the gpu neat
I looked into the specs and both of the antennas are for wifi. There is a new technology to boost wireless transfer rates even further called MIMO (Multiple Input / Multiple Output). You need multiple antennas for that, so thats why you need to connect two different wires to the card. Bluetooth seems to have its antennna right on the card (or chip) itself.
Yeah there’s 2x2. 3x3 and 4x4 Mimo my ubiquity ac pro has 3x3. this card does have 5.0 Bluetooth integrated into it. I’ put a link to the card on the video the specs have 5.0 Bluetooth on it.
@@RYNOTECH Yes. This card supports up to 2x2 Mimo. The intel module build onto the card even has bluetooth 5.2, but just bt 5.1 is advertised on gigabytes website. I'll see when I get mine.
Do you know why there is an usb port on the card? Seems useful to have a usb-port inside your case, but it's a little odd.
You don’t see it much today but there are single to multiple USB port slot cards you can get for your back slots and it will utilize that with a small jumper. You could also use it to put a usb storage inside if you wanted. Amongst other things.
@@RYNOTECH Maybe the connection is also needed to run the card properly. My card just arrived, and it has indeed bt 5.1. Maybe even 5.2 but it seems that windows doesn't support that yet.
@@carl-marvin from what I've been reading the USB connection is for the Bluetooth.
Starighh forward thank u subbed
Thank you glad to help
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
THANK YOU
EXCELLENT
No problem
Pro tip plug your Xbox wireless adapter into the usb on the wifi card you’ll have to take the side panel off if u wanna connect a new controller but it’s worth it to have the dongle hid away
Right on. That wouldn’t be an issue to me.
Thank you
Welcome glad to help.
need big help! after installing the card i put the cd in. my pc doesn’t support it. do i need to update to windows 10? i have a old pc btw
You shouldn’t. I would go to gigabyte and find the drivers on line. The cd may not have the right drivers. What windows are you running
Sorry im late, but any guess as to why only Wifi works for me? Ive downloaded both wifi and bluetooth drivers, but only the wifi works. I did plug in the USB header cable to the MOBO and im pretty stumped.
Are you on windows 11
So by getting this device I do not need to have my modum physically connected to my pc via ethernet cable?
You will need a wireless router or access point to connect to.
is there another way I can download the drivers? I dont have a cd slot for the cd.
If there’s no way to hardwire the computer temporarily and you don’t have access to another computer to download it and put it on a flash drive. I would try to download the file to your phone and put it on the pc from your phone.
@@RYNOTECH Well what's the link for the drivers online? I can download that one instead of the cd drivers?
Yhabk you so much
No problem
I installed it and my pc isn’t picking it up it says to plug is an Ethernet cable also mine came with a cord to i need to plug that in some were?
The cable it came with goes to a usb 3.0 on the motherboard and the other end to the card. Mine didn’t come with one. I found out after I made the video. Find a way to download the drivers to a usb stick if you can.
@@RYNOTECH okay 👍
@@RYNOTECH so I need the drivers for the card to work?
In this case you do. My system found them.
The included usb cable should it be connected for something?
Yeah I missed it in the video. It goes from the card to a usb header on the motherboard for the Bluetooth.
@@RYNOTECH thanks!
anyone got a link to the driver for amd?
Same boat
I have only one slot for Wi-Fi card below my motherboard to install this card is it okay if I plug it in there?
Yes. It will also work in the other ones as well. It doesn’t specifically have to go in the pcie 1x slot.
How do u get the drivers for the wifi card
2nd
Is there a low profile bracket for this???… or a modification?…I have a slimmer computer trying to install it on. Thanks
Yeah i didn’t even realize there wasn’t one in the box. Most the time I’ll get both brackets when I buy these little cards like this. I did a lot of searching. Thought for sure I could find one on Amazon. Found some on eBay. I can’t believe I didn’t think about that when I did this video. I’m sorry man.
@@RYNOTECH do I have to use the usb cable included? Not sure where to plug in the usb cable. Installing it in an old e-machine EL1352G-41W
@@geraldlivingston7256 no
Thanks!… connected card to pci 1x slot … now computer won’t power on…. Do you know what the issue might be?
@@geraldlivingston7256 never seen that before. Is the power supply turned off
Seems cool but i don't know why dessing it that way adding wire for the antennas, it doesn't look good
Sometimes you don’t have a choice.
@@RYNOTECH yea you're right, my current adapter got a 802.11g standard, kinda slow
how does this work? can i put this into my computer then connect straight to the wifi in my home?
Yes and no. You may need to download the drivers from gigabytes website after you put it in. I didn’t have to but some say they did. Just download them from another computer and put it on a flash drive. If you have a cd rom it comes with a disc with them on it. My PCs don’t have cd roms. There all workstations and gaming PCs. Hope this helps.
Hi I install this but got no Bluetooth on my pc help
There’s a cable in the box that goes from the usb on the motherboard to the usb on the card. I screwed up and missed that part on the video
Does it work perfectly when turning the pc off
Haven’t had any issues
hey i got a question i just bought this and was wondering if the bluetooth on a ps5 controller would work if you could help me out thank you
1st make sure you plugged in the usb cable that came with that card. I didn’t cover that in the video. That was my mistake.
To connect the PS5 DualSense controller via Bluetooth, press and hold the central PS Button with the Create button for three seconds. The lightbar in the middle of the controller should begin to flash.
Next, you’ll need to open up the Bluetooth settings on your PC. In Windows 10, click on the speech bubble icon in the Taskbar located at the bottom-right corner of your screen. This will open up the Action Center, so from there click ‘Bluetooth’ and then select ‘Wireless Controller’.
If you’re asked to enter a pair code, type in 0000. The PS5 DualSense controller should now be connected via Bluetooth to your PC. No more wires!
@@RYNOTECH Thank You
You get it to work?
@@RYNOTECH i was asking you
I was asking you if you were able to get it to work.
Where does the wire go to the one that has the same thing from both sides
Not sure what wires your asking about. The only wires that you will need to hook up is the antenna wires on the back of the card.
@@RYNOTECH i figured it out and connected the wire on the f usb 2 thats the ones i meant
Oh ok I’m sorry. Wasn’t sure what you were talking about. Lol. I didn’t go into that part of the video. It’s hardly used.
@@RYNOTECH at least you answered
I try to answer all the questions that come my way. Sometimes I don’t have the answer and I dig into it . Those spawn into future videos at times. I like the interaction with the viewers. There a good part of why I do this. It’s one of my favorite parts.
Dude that victory vid was a big hit, and I'm about to hit 1k subs soon I think, we still got a deal, just lmk how much u want!
I’m glad you’re was. They destroyed me in the comments and thumbs down. It was so bad UA-cam had to delete a lot of them.
@@RYNOTECH that's one reason I put him on there giving me that shout out! Only had 1 negative comment. And tbh some of the guys got on his top over it lol. But yeah lmk if we r still cool for that, if not I will just do it on my tablet. I may do that anyways and just wait to bring on a guest
Well he didn’t shout out to me. I’m just a fan.
@@RYNOTECH 😆.. I got lucky, he shouted me out when he only had 900 subs
i heard you need and internal usb 2.0 port to set this up, is that correct?
I didn’t use it.
@@RYNOTECH thanks
No problem
What board did you install this to?
Gigabyte z390 pro
Are you sure you dont need the cable? I cant get BT without it.
Your not the first to tell me that. I had no issues. Go to gigabyte and find the latest drivers for it. Sometimes windows doesn’t have the generic drivers for it and don’t install them.
@@RYNOTECH i used the frisbee. Gonna see what I can do with the drivers. I asked /g/ as well and checked my mobo. Worst case scenario theres a cable I can utilize to turn a different usb port into the f_usb2 I need.
Ok yeah get those drivers. I didn’t have to hook up the usb. Let me know.
@@RYNOTECH no dice. I tried removing the device from device manager and reinstalling it because thats how i trick win10 with a lot of driver issues. Guess im buying the cable. Im using the 210 model of this card btw.
Thanks for your help I like your videos brother.
I appreciate it. Hit me up anytime.
hey, i bought one of these a couple months ago. It worked good but im not getting the download and upload speed everyone seems to be getting with the card, how can i get it to have fast wifi speeds
Are you logged onto the 2.4 or 5 gigahertz band? And also what router are you using? Is it a AC router or an old n router?
@@RYNOTECH its an ac 2.4&5ghz
If your on the 2.4g it’s only going to go between 25 and 40. You will need to be on the 5g if you want it to go the speeds your isp is giving you. If your smart WiFi is turned on turn it off and stay away from mesh units because they go back and forth between the two automatically. That is not a good thing. I hope this is helpful. I’ve been wanting to do a video on this for a while.
@@RYNOTECH will definitely look into this, thanks
No problem
After installation, the card is not found in my device manager and it is not searching for any WiFi signals. I have no way to connect internet to the pc to download the drivers for it because I am away at school. Kind of hung on what to do. Any tips?
You might be able to download the driver file to your phone and then transfer it over to the computer from the phone.
Let me know
are no drivers needed???
I didn’t need the drivers when installed it. They came on a disk however who has a cd rom anymore. I have had some comment that they couldn’t get it to work until they installed the drivers. I’m running windows 10.
What to do with the cable?
It’s used to hook up the motherboard to the usb You won’t need to use it. I don’t know why they keep putting it on . I have never used it.
I have too but the Bluetooth works without the cable. I’m going to have to do some serious digging on this one. Lol
@@RYNOTECH Mine doesnt want to work, wifi is awsome and works fine but the bluetooth side doesnt seem to to work... I installed both drivers, but it still leaves me down...any idea, why this occur?
@@adambalogh8563 I’m sure you have both wires from the Antenna screwed on the card. Unscrew them and make sure the center conductor on the wire didn’t get bent when it was screwed in. It’s also possible the Bluetooth chip is bad. It sucks I know but it happens. I’ve bought mother boards bad right out of the box. That’s a big reason I and every other tech tuber says to build it be fit you put it in the case.
@@RYNOTECH wow thx for the super fast response!! Yup i checked and nothing is wrong i dunno what can be the problem maybe u are right and the Bluetooth module is damaged somehow...but i dont understand why the wifi module works fine while the Bluetooth module doesnt even show up in Windows xD...
Then what? Opened pc n see nothing new
i love you bro thank you allot you helped me allot perfect
Than’ you. Any questions I’m here.
Dose this work on windows 11
I can’t see why it wouldn’t.
hey I just got this card and its not working, im not sure if its because i have a ryzen cpu
That won’t have anything to do with it. Ryzen or intel don’t mater. Check in device manager or go to gigabyte and look for the drivers for it. Windows sometimes don’t find them.
Sorry for the late reply. We are on our way back from a cruise. We will be back tomorrow. Driving most the day.
@@RYNOTECH hey I downloaded driver before installing the card, and it worked. Thanks a lot!
No problem. I’m glad I could help. If you need anything else give a holler. My email should be in all my descriptions.
@@RYNOTECH hey man i CANNOT get the wifi part to work. bluetooth works, but not the wifi. i downloaded the drivers from the site still nothing. any ideas?
Wifi works, but bluetooth doesnt..
Look on gigabyte website and see if there is an update driver. Sometimes windows generic drivers don’t work.
