Well, Trixie is one of those people who ALWAYS has to be DOING something and often is HAS to be something SIGNIFICANT. Plus, people like her often want to rectify and make up for their negligent and abusive upbringing by proxy of nurturing and supporting children of their own.

A true phobia gives a reaction that is severe and repeatable. Nothing special about them other than they are terrifying for the people experiencing them. We should all be empathetic enough that trauma doesn't need to be aggrandized so it makes sense to the less human.

Im 30 and I truly realised I wasnt young anymore when I went to Trixie & Katya live in Wellington, NZ and I cried in the openning not because I was excited to see my favourite drag but because it was so loud. The show was worth it but I did complain that the seat gave me back pain for days after.
