It’s a bit of both.. personally I don’t like texting too much b4 a date you need some mystery and you can say too much which is like a pre date . So you can risk not getting to a date you can loose interest with not enough messages or too much. But 1 or 2 exchanges before being flirty or small talk .
Some people love texting more than actually going on dates.. that’s an issue don’t waste my time texting all the time but never follow through on dates or were not spending face to face time together.
