Well arranged ditty, produced as part of a promotional campaign for the now defunct travel department of the Australia & New Zealand (A.N.Z) bank.
The song was written and performed by the then 28 year old Bruce Woodley, formerly of the 1960’s folk/pop group, ‘The Seekers’.
The (pictured) limited edition mono mixed 45 single, manufactured for, and issued to, employees of A.N.Z in 1971, wasn’t marketed for general release and therefore never appeared on any regional or radio station pop music charts of the time.
Side 2 of the disc featured a full instrumental version of Bruce’s song, and has a slightly different arrangement to this vocal track version.
