    What is the name of the thing you used to take the screws at the back off?

    I had recently replaced my bellow due to a tear. After completion, I noticed the washer displayed an LF code. The machine tries to fill water, but after 3-5 seconds ends up tripping my electrical outlet. I'm not sure what could be wrong, either water sensor inlet is defective (it's not dirty, its super clean) so I'm not sure what to replace.
    Make and model of washer:
    Whirlpool YWFW9151YW00

      Hi sMiLey Warrior, this a little unusual as it sounds like more than one fault, the LF error code means the machine has detected a problem with it filling, usually water pressure or the valve but the tripping is worrying as that is an electrical fault.

    I am getting 240v to my whirlpool dishwasher control panel but no lights, is this the same for dishwashers as well?

      Hi Lucas, we do not advise testing appliances live due to the safety issues if you have power to the board but no light it would suggest the board has failed.

    But how do I diagnose that this is needed in the first place?

    • @eSpares
      @eSpares  4 роки тому

      Hi Andrew, if the mains filter has failed it can cause your washing machine to blow the fuse/RCD to check look for a bulge in the casing, burn marks or liquid coming from the filter and you can also test it with a multimeter.

    I have a washing machine that doesn't turn on. Changed the fuse in plug but no joy. Is there a way to test the mains filter to see if this would be the problem? Thanks for any help you can give

    • @eSpares
      @eSpares  7 років тому +1

      If the filter is faulty it would either blow fuses or no power would reach the control board. It can be checked with a meter to confirm there is continuity from the plug to the control board. The fault is more likely to be the control board if dead but if anything works at all see another video:

    I've got a lamona washer dryer and it will switch on but every time it go's to start a cycle it trips my electric. Any suggestions??

    • @eSpares
      @eSpares  5 років тому

      Hi Gregg, one of your components inside the machine is going down to earth which is blowing the trip, the cause could be the mains filter, element or even the motor and you would need to test them to determine what is causing the machine to trip.

      I also recently changed the carbon brushes, do you think that could be causing any issues?

    • @eSpares
      @eSpares  5 років тому

      Hi Gregg, wouldn't normally cause the machine to trip and would have happened straight after replacing them so check the element and mains filter.

      Hi Martin, one of your components inside the machine is going down to earth which is blowing the trip, the most likely would be the heater so start there.

      The filter on your machine is under the panel at the bottom right of the machine. If coins or other debris has been in the washing they may be restricting the machine emptying so check this and watch another video: ua-cam.com/video/frEJhX9Sppw/v-deo.html
