Ingredients:
1 ea. Head of Cabbage about 2 lbs., chopped
1 Onion, chopped
1 package Thick Cut Bacon
1 lb. Smoked Andouille Sausage cut into half inch rounds
1 ea. Orange Bell Pepper
1 ea. Green Bell Pepper
1 ea. Red Bell Pepper
1 tbsp. Kosher salt and Fresh Ground Pepper (to taste)
2 tbsp. Creole Seasoning (I used Sweet Smokie Joe's Creole Kick)
3 ea. cloves Garlic minced/pressed
2 tbsp. Butter (optional)

I just made fried cabbage Saturday evening. I used Applewood bacon, Texas Garlic sausage, Bell peppers, Onions, Spinach with all the same seasonings to make it delicious, for the second time. I also, made cornbread with onions, bell peppers, It’s amazing!

Iam Polish; we can live on spuds and cabbage. But I ran across an Oriental cabbage video. They tore it into moderate pieces. They boiled water alone and then poured the water over it and it comes out to perfect flavor and bite. You can do what you want from there. I save the water I boiled and make my rice. Stir fry whatever you like. I found it interesting andvthe flavor of the cabbage is accentuated.

It's all good, Thank you for posting these delicious recipes. See reminds me of a kid growing up, A great grandma was from Alabama, Mima she was from Mississippi, And my mom I grew up in Tennessee... Nothing like skillet full of down home fried chicken with mashed potatoes and thick gravy, Or sometimes we've gathered around for just biscuits and honey.. Seem like we were eating all the time... But we were laughing and having fun even if we didn't have much money, we had food on our table and we had lots of love in our home. 👍😉✌

We love fried cabbage. We have never made it the way that you are making it. We can't wait to try this recipe. We tried your pulled roast pork yesterday, and it turned out awesome! It's absolutely awesome. By the way, everyone, cabbage is absolutely delicious with cornbread. Baked cornbread or hot water fried cornbread. Yes, we will definitely go back if the food is great and the service is awful. Most of the time we want great food and we hope that the service will change and be better than the next time.
