wanted to share this, My Husqvarna 592XP is a beast cutting these ties. fast, balanced, light, stout. I think im in love with this. www.loggerwade.com/
Nice saw! We run Stihl because it doesn’t make sense for us to switch but do have a few huskies that are nice. Me and the Mrs. Are on vacation this week visiting my brother in law in Bloomington. We stopped and met dirt perfect and had to stop by and take a few pictures at the saw mill. I got to see blacky and Brutus in person! Very cool place you all have down here. Keep up the videos!
The Millennial Puddin'! You could grab an Alaskan Mill and make the whole ties with the 592!💪 The difference in the sound always gets me. There was just something about the sound of well tuned 395 bar deep in hardwood!
I have to say Wade way back in the early 70s I had the privilege to be at The Royal Highland Show, when the Husky racing team showed up with their fine tuned racing chainsaws, man I have never since in all my adult life seen anything like these guys, there was no wood that could stand or slow these guys down, they made wood furniture right there in front of you and small Christmas trees for the people standing around, seats and tables that were trunks seconds ago cost so little they were making them custom for the people who were visiting the show, there wasn't much they couldn't do, I was sold never would I buy anything other than a Husky, then real life kicked in when I was older and never could afford my first Husky, however they are still in my mind and heart, the best and safest chainsaw I have ever seen. That one you have is the type I am talking about, they just made the job easy. Keep the road in front of you and stay well Wade, every bad change in my 63 years of life all eventually came to a much better life wish you the same.
I got mine for free.... sort of.. I had an old, old CTR 40 saw that I traded for one.... My Husky dealer is also a logging equipment dealer and he had a buyer for that ol' bucksaw.
Nice to have really good equipment to go with, makes the day go oh so much better and the job more of pleasure to do. Thanks for the video, appreciate your time and you Wade.
I remember one time I was watching hunt tree service cut down a couple of big trees at my neighbors house and all the trucks and shut their engines off. The chipper was loaded up on the trailer and this guy pulls out a husky 592. And I remember just being blown away by the power of that thing as it was cutting through the trunks of those huge Bradford pairs. It had the trunk turned in to dust in about two minutes.
Those 592s are BEASTS, I got to see and try some early test units and they are insane. I love them and ported they are just insane. I loved the 394xp the most and the 395xps were great but this 592xp is amazing
Well wade now your gonna have to build a double gaint chainsaw where you could set the bundle down and cut both sides at the same time .good to see ta bud glad your to see your doing well.
Honey hush as they would say down south. Makes me wanna hurry up get my ticker fixed and get back in shape just to buy and run one. That started so smooth and sounds really good cutting.
Over the floor. In some areas they had even stained it differnt tints and it looked great!!! Great vudja's and just a idea for that left over product. Keep smilin!!!
Try an 8-pin rim sprocket I cut hardwood in NY with my 592 on a 24 and 28in bar and the 8 pin made an impressive difference in chain speed and helps the saw from over reving.
Hi Wade. I opened the outlet hole some on the exhaust and put a red beard foam filter on mine and it helps them add some power and run a little cooler also. 😎
Hi Wade, my Son Tyler and I have been running the same Stihl for 20+ years and it's been perfect! We do keep the chain tuned up and use transmission fluid in the oiler. (don't remember why anymore, but it works) I sure do enjoy your videos.
Wow. Like a hot knife through butter. I've had a couple of Husqvarna dirt bikes and they've been impressive And I got sick of crashing before they did 😅 Nice one, Wade
If I was a little closer I'd bring my semi and dump trailer down and get a load of the blocks! A friend of mine has that saw and it is a ripper! Keep up the great work 👍
i have a McCulloch supper 44 with a 24 inch bar running Oregon 404 chain i got it used in 1975 i cut and sold fire wood for years it still will keep up with the newer saws it heavy and loud but still cuts
Premium Husky porn. Got to love it. Thank you Wade. I used Husqvarna chainsaws as a Territorial Force Royal New Zealand Engineer and I have a 540 XP which I use for clearing some of our house sites, topping retaining poles and other bits and bobs. I bought it because I needed time away from carpentry and worked with an arborist mate. Great fun using a sling shot to position ropes and climbing with spikes where necessary. Good to see you back after we- nicely-bullied you into it😂!
I run 2 592s had them 1.5 years so far. Love them overall, however the AV spring by the gas tank seems to break real easy and then both have had issues with the wire that runs along the ignition coil wire gets wore inside by the recoil pulley and won't run. Dealer said that was a common issue, so keep your eye out for that.
I would suggest running full skip chain on your 592. Less cutters allows the RPM to remain HIGH. Saw will not bog out. Another benefit is less cutters to sharpen st the end of your day. Happy cutting to you.
Logger wade Husqvarna chainsaws good absolutely ,800% rules Annie Husqvarna chainsaws and I absolutely agree what you said about Husqvarna saws the best saw in the world
i am with you on that saw sounds great, like the dual spike and it really looks like you are not really using them to there full potential. you said several time 63 gauge, but is it 3/8 or .404 pitch, from the sound of the engine i believe 3/8's with is best for high rpm engines. also from the sound of the engine, i believe proper fuel mixing this saw will hold up for along time.
I ran my modified shine stihls an got into the Husqvarna line which me being me. I can’t keep my little patty fingers off of something brand new I did some modifications as I did my shine stihls. But I have a lot of respect for the husky and I adjust mine to rap out but with the modification on the carbs they are not running too lean. I agree with everything you said and I can tell you there is not anyone that abuses a saw more than me I ask the impossible 100% of the time out of them. lol brand new huskys never made it to the woods before it went in the shop and I modified it.. Dad was like good god boy you could of at least waited till the warranty expired😂😂😂😂😂 I’m a no bullshit guy I go to the woods to cut not play around 🤷🏻♂️😁😁 (edited fur a few spell boo boos)
G'day LW, that sounds like an MS661, I run a 28 light bar on my MS660 full comp round only round. Saws used to sound different now they all sound very similar I've got a MS880 with a 36 inch bar when it's fully buried it'll belt you in the guts now and then 👍.
Man those but ends would sell like hot cakes in Colorado ski towns. The rental condos don't allow wood with bark on it. A weekend worth of ambiance wood is like 200. Crazy.
Hey wade husqvarna recommends on the 5 series auto tune saws to let them run a few mins at idle on first cold start of the day. To let auto tune adjust. I love my 550xp 572xp 592xp saws
You got a mega puddin I still like my Stihl but only the older ones I'm surprised you guys don't got one of them big chainsaw units that cut them bundles of ties
Husky singin' its little brrrrpppppp chamber out 😂😂😂 Surprised the long sleepers (that is what we call ties over here 🇬🇧) are not kept for using in crossover switches, they do use longer sleepers over here for that application. Anyhoo, great to see you finding your feet on the tooob again, you have been a big miss Sir 👍💪
Wade was more than likely cutting for a specific length tie contract. He can only provide for what the contract requires. My suggestion to Wade, would be to ask that a clause be added to the contract for a certain number of bundles of switch/spur length ties be part of the sale, allowing him to save time on having to trim excess tie length. There by causing less waste of time and resources, plus increasing revenue.
I still run a 395 love it. Great video and amazing work. I believe if you would put a straight plate on your tie bunck and keep one in straight you would save time on trimming. Some ties looked like you could have gotten switch ties save some more time . Sorry if I make you mad. Just asking
Hello Wade, a Interesting Video. How You Test the Husky 592 XP. You6 say the is awesome. Then is this a very good Recmmendation! Thank for the Demonstration. 👌👍
I was disappointed with how the 592 piss revved constantly. Even with a 32” skip it didn’t pull the motor load down enough. I most run a 28” full comp but at any rate I HIGHLY recommend going to a 8 pin sprocket. That saw is geared too low for a small bar like a 28-32” trust me you’ll thank me.
Wade, why don't you stack your ties flush on one side so you only have to cut one side. Half the work and half the time saves you money. Just a thought, have a great day.
Of course we know yourun cheap saws, you run huskies 😂. Hopefully they have worked the bugs out of them, my logger buddy got one from husky dealer just down the road from me, and they bought it back because of issues he had with it and they couldn't figure it out. I told em it's because its not a Stihl😂😂😂
Wade as a logger your chain is sharper wrong for hardwood, if your use a 7/32 file down down 1 or 2 size in file for hardwood and the angle 📐 and get the file to sharpen the top 🔝 off tooth 🦷. If a file under the tooth 🦷. All we can get now these little 90cc , hard to see a chainsaw in the forest now last 20 plus yrs . Own on big timber that left around that pretty few today in 2024 .
My preference has always been for the orange and white of the Stihl brand. But currently I'm comparing Husqvarna to Stihl. Husqvarna originally started out as a rifle manufacturer and only got into the manufacturer of chain saws in 1979, where Stihl has 50 more years experience in the manufacturer chain saws. Longevity and experience are plus points in my evetual final purchase. But, I'm still doing research on both branfds.

Those blocks should be perfect for folks with an external wood boiler heat system.
My husband got a new 592 for Christmas. He is loving her.more than me. :)
" TEC NO PUDDIN" Love that name ! Cuts like butter! I would really love to see you cut a tree with it. Thanks for sharing! 😊
The Millennial Puddin'! You could grab an Alaskan Mill and make the whole ties with the 592!💪 The difference in the sound always gets me. There was just something about the sound of well tuned 395 bar deep in hardwood!
Lawd have mercy!! As uncle Bucking says she cuts hey. If I was to ask Big Mama real nice do you think she would buy me one. 😂😂
Husqvarna makes a mean saw love my Husqvarna's. I have both them and Stihl and they both have good saws. My heart still belongs to Husqvarna.
Thanks for sharing your videos. Glad you found a worthy replacement for Pudding. Wishing you and your family the best.
Hi I will start by saying Happy Birthday for Sunday 👍, and you can see you are enjoying the work you pudding 🤣all the best👍🐝🌞
I got mine for free.... sort of.. I had an old, old CTR 40 saw that I traded for one.... My Husky dealer is also a logging equipment dealer and he had a buyer for that ol' bucksaw.
Loved the info that helps, thanks so much
It definitely sounds good Wade
Lesson learned thanks for sharing 👍👋🇨🇦
Nice saw, a nice operation and great crew including you !
Thank you for another great video. Stay safe out there. Cheers
If Husqvarna hasn`t paid for this video advertisement, it should have!
Looks like a nice saw. Looks to run good.
Enjoyed the video thanks 👍🏻
Nice to have really good equipment to go with, makes the day go oh so much better and the job more of pleasure to do. Thanks for the video, appreciate your time and you Wade.
I'm glad that you finally got your saw and that you really like it. Keep on sawing Wade. God Bless and Be Safe.
Great video once again
Very nice saw you run it well Wade 👍😎🇺🇸 NY
Nothing but Stihl here. Love the Videos.

Husky's are great saws. Those and Stihl are the best out there I think!! Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us Wade!!!

I run a 4xx Rancher on my property. I have about 2 acres of pines to cut this summer. Most are no bigger then 6 inches in diameter. Love it to death.
If I was a little closer I'd bring my semi and dump trailer down and get a load of the blocks! A friend of mine has that saw and it is a ripper! Keep up the great work 👍

A quick way to blow a gasket is touch the concrete when exiting a cut.
Party on Wade.

Now that is a nice sawdust generator! :)
If I wasn't up in northern Canada I'd sure like a bunch of those cut ends for blocks in my shop .
592 XP the best

I seen another mill on here leaning on Ties right now. I think they are in PA.

The PUDDENATOR!!!!!!!
Really nice saw she will cut lol
Have you ever tried a 15 degree chain angle for hardwoods? Those ends must be great firewood.
Its a good chainsaw and husqvarna are the best of the east 😅 but 395 xp 372xp and 266xp its my saws 😊
I saw a 575xp on marketplace for 450$ should have bought it, no auto tuned for me
Genuinely curious to know if you've had the pleasure to run a ported 395, or any ported saw, or if you're a "stock saw only guy" ?
Just wondering, not a wood guy here. Could the wood be stacked to say the left side even, then only make one cut?
Wade, why don't you stack your ties flush on one side so you only have to cut one side. Half the work and half the time saves you money. Just a thought, have a great day.
Sometimes you can. You dress both ends to get the defaults out of the tie so they don't doc you for imperfections.
I have to admit imma StihL guy … but … that Husky runs good ! 🍺😎
What do y’all do with the ends y’all cut off those Ties?
Did you put puddin in a glass case?
I need a train car load of those ties. Prob is you are 2 days away.
Puddin n plenty.lol..is silver maple hard wood if red is soft?
Wade…do you send those Ties off to be Creosoted…or is The Railroad just using them Plain Jane in their Natural Wood Form?
Of course we know yourun cheap saws, you run huskies 😂. Put an 8 pin sprocket on it if you haven't already and it'll really eat.
Friends don’t let friends run cheap clone saws.
Your honest opinion wade what do you like more the 395 or the 592?
395 ALL DAY
@@patrickdesimone8310 we have both but I prefer the 395 too

Sounds like a healthy running saw. Ill stick with a 576 mechanical saw for now
.............G'day
www.youtube.com/@BjarneButler he use both the new husqvarna's
i would like to lay in to a red oak or a scaly bark hickory or even better a black iron wood log with that saw....lol
are them ties for the railroad
I’d say that they were corner posts for a fence
Yes
That saw sounds like a dying calf in heil storm buy yourself a old stil
Wade you talk about grown up with chainsaw and you buy CHISEL HEAD 592 from Chinese ( COME ON ) for really!! 😂😂.
Try a stihl 500i. You'll never use junk again. I promise.
Junk? Give me a break! Don’t be a fanboy!

@@chadbredbenner1555they have been making chainsaws since 1959 for sure, have a picture of one.

Thank you for pointing out the error in my research. Yet still, Stihl has 30 years on Husqvarna.
That's a nice saw but the auto tune saws have a tendency to lean themselves out and and die. if one day it wont start you know its toast
