- Haha well, it's the truth. Before we got this Cat 308D mini Din Excavator, we used to struggle reaching Way in this Mill, It was always a Pain in the Butt. www.loggerwade.com/

Good to hear Rogers Laugh again...
This is definantly one of those hold my beer moments. Getting an excivator in the building to do a job is just too funny but if it works then it works.
Thank you Mr Wade for an other great video. Bless you your family and the crew
The video brings back many 20 hour days from my past
That was exciting. Never a dull day with Wade and the crew. Thanks for the great content, would love to see more.
Good video. As a fellow sawmiller I enjoy seeing the actual work that's done to keep our operations going
Good morning Wade … it’s a good day when there is a logger Wade vidjya… great start to my day, I appreciate that sir , thank you much love from Ontario, Canada 👊✌️🇨🇦
I’m sure big daddy said when I was your age we’d have just picked that up and set it in there;-)
Great vidjya wade,informative
That's one hell of a way to make toothpicks!! Great video! Thumbs up! Safety first!
Hi Wade, old jargon, old jargon, jargon, jargon, as requested Wade, glad I could help. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Your lucky to have a motor shop that will give that kind of service nobody seems to understand the cost of downtime
That is some great ingenuity and awesome teamwork. Thanks for the video. Stay safe
All your videos are great. I worked in a sawmill when I was 17 but just for a short time
Soon as I saw Roger was on the scene...I immediately knew things were going to get done right!🤠 Nice job, Fellers and hopefully the boys can figure out how to get this job done next time!👍
I have to admit that was pure genius Tater. Great job getting that beast of a motor in & out.
An excavator on a log deck.....how can that NOT be a good vidja?!?!? 24 years on that motor, thats pretty good. Shows what a little maintenance will do.
Wow from in truck to running in 30 minutes very impressive😁
Thanks Wade, brings back memories, I worked in an electric motor shop with 24 hour emergency service, i think you did a sweet job of getting that motor out and back in again, sometimes you do what you have to, sketchy or not. Enjoyed watching, appreciate you taking time to record it. You have a good crew to work with.
Like seeing the nitty gritty side of things. Projects, repairs, job site work never goes as expected. Seeing the difficult things and the solutions is interesting and informative.
Reminds me of working around the millwrights in the paper mills here in the northeast!
Super smart 👌🏻 the location of it and its surroundings don’t leave many options
Great vidja Wade . Gotta do things a little different sometimes to keep things rolling. I hope things get better for you guys . This economy is bleeding us smaller businesses dry . Have a good one.
Lolz! That’s awesome!
Good morning logger wade hope everyone is well thanks for sharing
I liked that video Wade. I interested in what it takes to keep things running. Great job guys.
hope you have time to show us part 2 of this repair 👏👏👏👏👏👌👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍
Great video, keep them coming. I look to forward every Wednesday
Excellent video. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
You and Roger are a real team of professionals. I’m sure there’s days neither one of likes the other but the respect never goes away nor dose the true friendship. 👊👊
We actually keep things pretty light between us
We so used to each other when one gets down the other helps out
Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do, and if it looks silly but works it ain’t silly it’s genius 😊 have a good one
Okay Wade that's cool I hope nothing Bent under the weight and that's a big electric motor 😮😮😮😮
In regard to rotation, ... it seems like a 50/50 proposition, but in over 40 years of monkeying with 3 phase motors, getting correct rotation on the first try only happens about 25% of the time.
Lol I don't disagree with that
Congratulations! Great job! You and your team are one of the best! Having a good time in a bad situation. We all get twisted up once in a while.😂
Thank you for being you, and thank you for sharing!
Worked at a soybean processing plant and would have to swap out a 150 horse motor that was 8 feet up. We did have a beam overhead but we had to trapeze it over using 2 chainfalls and drop it down.
Wade nice job knowing your equipment taking the ex up on the log deck to remove the motor
Nice to see old Roger again
Wow another adventure packed with suspense to finally reach the first goal. Then why not have another major issue show up! Be Safe Youngman and thanks for sharing.
Thanks bud will do
When things get tough the tough get going! You have some really good people you work with!
Some days you just got too do what ever it takes to Get-it-Done
Good video Wade. Nice work with the excavator. Thank you.
Interesting video Wade. Years ago I was a maintenance electrician in a knitting mill. If a machine was down for mechanical adjustment I'd take the opportunity to check the motors. With my ear muffs against the side of the cabinet a quick spin of the motor and I could hear if the bearing were on the way out, replacing them early saved many motors from having to be rewired. In your case a stethoscope might be useful.
Intresting thanks bud ill try that
Nice work Logger Wade. Y'all take care.
Great video, well done Wade
Those mini excavators are just about as handy as the pocket on your shirt
Work smarter not harder😊
Talk about a high risk/high reward job. Using the hoe saved a bundle of time, but wow oh wow, like you said, it could of turned into weeks of repairs and a bundle of money, if it had gone bad. 👍👍
Awesome video! I’m no electrician but I do find it very interesting! Quick search said 250 hp = 300+ FLA at 480v which would take 3/0 wire…. Totally different league! Definitely don’t play around with that. Glad you got it figured out!
Goodonya Wade! Top Stuff! Enjoyed in Australia 🇦🇺 👍👍⚡️🐝
Great vidja Tatar way to think out of the box 👍🏻
24 years.. Tater was but a little spud when that motor went in.
Nice job on the removal and installation of such a big motor.
I love your vidja like this. Interesting to watch
Hi working to a deadline keeps you on your toes. Hope you had a good birthday 👍🐝🌞

Great content Wade. Glad you took us along with you and the crew today and got the motor in safely.
The struggle is real ! Thank you for another great video. Stay safe out there. Cheers
If there is will there is logger Wade we’ll done heads up to the other boys giving a hand to get things back up and running 👍👋🇨🇦
Great video and good to see you still taking care of Roger.
This kind of video right here of what you do every day right wrong or indifferent is exactly why I started watching your channel keep them coming nice to see Roger back and some of the others where big daddy been You need to do a video of all the guys again brings us b to your reality
That is quite the large project to take on getting the motor in and out! Looking forward to your next video Wade. Thank you for bringing us along on your adventures!!!
Great job Wade!!! got to do what ya got to do to get the job done!!!!!!
I think most of enjoy the detail like this vodka showed. But any day with a LW vid is a good day
Where there is a will there is a way. Good old Hoosier ingenuity.
Wade you got a bunch of good folks working for ya buddy. Nice job fellas.
Love your attitude towards everything and how you respect your help!! Top notch sir!
I appreciate that!
Good job buddy keep us on edge ❤
Wade, it’s amazing what you can do. It would be something just to spend a day with you to see the operation.
That was a little wonky!!..🤔 But I would expect nothing less from Wade. 😎. No one got hurt and the job got done. 👍💪. Nice work guys!!.
A small gantry crane would be a good winter/youtube project.
I loved it. All the best from Henry in the UK 🇬🇧
Cool Wade
That log deck is impressive to hold the weight of that 308 like it ain't no thang!!
I love this video I was a boilermaker for years went to work in a saw mill on my time off as a mill right loved ever minute
Nice work! If you ever go to Florida again to the auctions look for a Broderson Carry Deck Crane. Once you use one on any industrial site you will wonder how you ever got along without it. We have an 8 ton size with a fly away jib that has a 45 ft tip height.
Yes sir we rented one once it was slick
Thank you!! Good vidga
👍👍👍
Great vidja
Good to watch Tater at work what I got out the video was a Dewalt guy using a Milwaukee impact. Lol. Like the videos keepem coming.
God work!! 👍🙂
Wade you don’t have crane 🏗 trucks in your state. See that THINK 🤔 SAFETY and always put SAFETY FIRST . IF you get it out in one ☝️ pc , HOPE you get it back in with out doing more damage to your equipments. Hey 👋 if electric motor running backward just change any two wire be running clock wise them Wade . 😊
Great job wade! And give them guy a pat on the back for a job well done
👍
Hey why not? it works less stress and nothing else got broken no one got hurt. Excellent impervising
Oh my goodness you are brilliant! Let’s Dig 18 would be so proud of you!
Hey making big deal 18 proud would make my day
Always a good day with a logger wade video. Who needs DP when you got logger wade on the excavator lol
Lol hey I can handle anything that don't get to complex. Then I'd say the big DP would have to take over
Oh oh, the Excavator to put of the great Saw draft of Block of Wood. Your have good Nerve!! And this all to a new Motor for the Saw to Install. You make the Electric to the Motor and on the chain Perfect, Saw run 💪👌💪
Thanks buddy
You know that is longer than most marriages!
😂😅just make it happen...captain...got make due with what got.
Hey up mate youse all did good work there and it made a top video thanks
hello Logger Wade & it's Randy and i like yours video is cool & Thanks Logger Wade Friends Randy
Thanks for watching!
Hope you guys are doing well. It’s been tough in the timber industry. We just had a local mill shut down for good Allegany Wood Products just closed there doors in WV 850 employees out of work. It’s hard to tell how many people it will actually affect if you account for all the contractors. Sad day’s int he USA if you ask me. Best of luck.
Some heavy electric motor use little 3/4 or 1 ton chain fall , you guys like 👍 to make thing sound bigger them what it is Wade . 😢
Excavator in the building lol funny but cool thinking outside the box lol they probably think your nuts
One thing I know for sure is there's so many moving parts in a sawmill that something is always wearing out.
