This might be obvious but how do you mount the slider on the tripod? What adapter do you need. I’ve seen other videos of people using it with one tripod no other supports and it not tilting. Not sure how they did that though, maybe a lighter camera
Every slider may have different mounting points, mine has 2 on each end ( 1/4-20” and I think 1/2 or 3/4” mount points) and than one in the middle where you’d attach a base or tripod. I prefer the end mount points as it doesn’t allow the slider to tilt on axis meaning if you use just 1 tripod in the middle the weight of the slider and camera will shift weight to one side lifting the other side up. I used 2 Andicine 1/4-20” quick releases and mounted them to 2 inexpensive light stands and I’ve never had an issue with any sort of balancing problems. hope that helps
Thank you for this detailed review and walkthrough
You’re welcome! Glad it was helpful 💚
Wow this is super nice I do it manually or with the gimbal but this is less headache thanks for sharing 👏
Yeah I used to use a gimbal for B-roll parallax movements but in the end this is way smoother
@@JordanHandwerker yeah I agree let see if my wife approves the expense 😂
@@TonysTravel good luck with that 😂
Great Video. Where did you get the quick release screw?
I ordered them through B&H.

use washer on 1/4 inch
Nice bro! I didn’t even know these exist
A great inexpensive piece of gear that adds depth and value 💪🏻
What was that release pin thing u were mentioning?
They’re Andy Cine 1/4-20” quick releases. If you type them in on ( B&H, Adorama or Amazon ) they should populate
Can it be mounted vertically?
Unfortunately no, not unless you mount it on a ball head vertically and counterweight it. There are only mounting options on the bottom, not the sides
@@JordanHandwerker thanks bro
