Massive Anvilgard fan myself, you may have already covered this, but there's a great story in the Soulbound rpg rule book about how after the Necroquake, Anvilgard is under siege by giant reptile skeletons. A Seraphon army shows up out of nowhere and saves the city (yes dinosaurs fighting dinosaur fossils is rad). Then a skink star priest named Ze'Bul'Ka comes out of the jungle after the battle and says, hey we like it here, we're staying and a giant Jade Temple appears on the outskirts of the city. Starbourne turned Coalesced. I'm basing my Seraphon army off of them and would really love for the next edition of the Cities book to allow Anvilgard to include Seraphon units or at least as allies like some of the other cities can do with KO or Sylvaneth. Anyway, love the show, you'd tell it much better than I.
As far as battleplans, what about scorched earth? The objectives on the city side could represent their landing ships or boarding planks or something the Orks want to destroy, and the objectives on the Ork side can be important structures that the City player wants to destroy in order to sink Blista Bakk
Underrated. Get some custom objective markers and you’ve got a themed game.

We did a beach landing in our Firestorm campaign with the Wraith Fleet attacking my Ironjawz and a big drunk gargant on a tropical island, soundtracked by pirate metal and PoTC music. I also have an Anvilgard army so might have to do this too!

Brutes and Hardboyz are not inherently Ironjawz Units. They are usable in an IronJawz army, yes, as they wish to ascend to become IronJawz-- and they certainly are not Bonesplitterz either. In reality the Orruks in this story are very much the Greenskinz variety-- which there aren't really so much rules for.
You cannot represent these Orruks with the WarClans book anymore than you could represent the Free Guilds with a Stormcast book. To represent these Orruks, you would need to go to the Legends section of the WarHammer Community site and get the Orcs & Goblins rulebook (although the Orruk units are still on the Azyr app). I am not sure how much one would want to play those particular Orruks as they are very much not competitive with modern armies.... but, in reality, they do represent the vast majority of the Orruks found across the 8 realms-- like 90% or more.
I don't know why GW felt that we should only play the super elite chosen of Gorkamorka Orruks-- but-- we are where we are.
great story and glad the Orcs are in this one and that Daemon looking guy fighting the Orruk warboss in that one art work reminds me of Doom's Cyberdemon. I love Orcs in both series of Warhammer

I'm looking for a cool and canon way to let my Ogor mawtribe fight my , Scourge Privateers/Darkling Coven & Anvils of the Heldenhammer armies. i'm realy new to Age of sigmar
Well welcome!! The best part of AOS is the open world where you can create just about anything. Writing a background for some sea-faring Mawtribes is a great start :)

But thanks to you i'am now one of those "Warhammer people" who uses words as "pile of shame" or "Battletome".
I got in to it with gusto you might say.
i'm making Sacrosanct chambers, the Dolorites and/or the Sempiternals ( almost there, only needs paint) . i bought the Ven Brecht Black watch & drusa kreath box and i'am going to build a Black Ark as game table/board. ...oh and i bought the Warcry starter set after seeing your video''s on it . I got some great idea's for that game to use as i fight deep in the bowles of the black Ark .
This was easily the best battle that the Cities of Sigmar Battletome had.
Infantry army for the Orruks makes sense if we assume the people fighting on Blista Bakk also are crews on smaller ships, bringing things like gore gruntas on a ship sounds unpractical. Granted Orruks aren't well known for being pragmatic so maybe I am wrong.

Where is this Pirate Orks info at? The CoS battletome? A Book?
Pirate Orks need to be a model. Also scourge Privateers need updated models.
Dark elves just need to be a thing already. No one is really buying the Lumineth Realm lords box.
Let's hope we'll get something of that with Broken Realms. Would be nice not ti have the poster boys being front and centre again.
I whole heartedly agree with your first 2 sentences. And Malerion is coming in the near future with Broken Realms or right after it. But the Cities Dark Aelves aren't gonna get split off now that Cities of Sigmar is an established thing, and nor would I want them too since they form the core of my army.
I wouldn't doubt if they pull the models from cities of Sigmar. Before the actually release you could still get majority of the High Elf army and when they made it a thing they removed most of the High Elves and then released the Lumineth. They might keep the rules and stuff for people to use the models. But I bet they stop selling the models.
@@zachwalton5693 They stopped making the High Elves before Cities of Sigmar became an actual faction. Now that it is don't expect units to be dropped or removed wholesale. Particularly since the High Elves (Highborn specifically) were dropped to make room for the Lumineth.
