Love this one! I am a mum of my 18 month old daughter & i do your yoga nidra sessions when she naps. It helps re centre me so i can continue to look after her for the rest of the day, being patient & relaxed for her. The stressors of motherhood can be very overwhelming, but thank you ally for was acting as the solid rock & a grounding tool through these videos! xx
Yoga nidra has really changed my life (as long as I do it consistently). I have borderline personality disorder so I have a very difficult time, to say the least, controlling my emotions at times. This has really contributed to getting that in check and I couldn't be more grateful. I've listened for so long now that your voice has an almost Pavlovian effect on me. I hear "Hi, this is Ally" and I immediately feel my breath deepening and my heartrate slowing. Thank you so much for all that you do! P.S. I would absolutely love to see a yoga nidra session centered around addiction and recovery if ever you're looking for ideas. 😉❤

Hi Ally - I found your videos a few months ago by way of Dr. Huberman, and they quickly became a part of my daily practice. I use them occasionally for insomnia, but they're especially great for my midday nap! Lol I feel like at this point, you've brought so many of us to the front of the pack. By that I mean: if we use as an indicator the many youtube channels that have cropped up recently, we may be witnessing (in real time) yoga nidra entering the collective consciousness as an important resource for health and well-being. I have started to listen to your meditations for the last two weeks I have chronic health but been unable to meditate for 5 yrs yet did every day for ten years before your practise is really helping me and I am mediating again and it’s really helping my chronic health todays new meditation has made me feel irritable not sure if it’s not right for me or release stuff but rest stuff brilliant so grateful thank you so much
Mary! Yes, I responded about the irritability in your other post. I'm glad to hear that it moved through and your nervous system was able to settle. Sometimes when this energy comes up, another thing that can be very helpful is some gentle yoga/restorative yoga or pranayama "pre-practices" which I have many on my channel that you can find. If you search my name and "gentle yoga" "restorative yoga" or "pranayama" these are all practices that would be very suitable and helpful for settling the nervous system down for Yoga Nidra.
‘States become traits’ ♥️♥️♥️ I have two small children. The ability to totally escape - even for just 20 mins - are invaluable. This one was particularly satisfying! I’ve also become much more creative in my work… considering how little I sleep at the moment - I consider this a huge achievement. Huge love and thanks to you, Ally.

I've used quite a few of your yoga nidra videos for a long time now, tbh I used them cos I knew I needed to try to practice as I know it helps, but never really felt like they did it for me but still keep using them.. Anyways, this one in particular was really good for me! I dunno if it's a combination of things as I'm on holiday and in a better place atm, and yesterday had an amazing day at the beach seeing exactly what was described here with the waves and colours of the sky and a tiny bit of rain, just no forest or mountains behind, but sand dunes and lots of trees behind that, anyways just wanted to say thank you for this, I'm glad I've kept watching your videos and found this one! 🙏🏾❤

Hi Ally, thank you so much for your yoga Nidra sessions, I am learning and enjoying them. I recently learned that I have a cervical and spine deterioration and hernias. While I do my Nidra sessions my intention is to heal my body. I find this one useful as I have energy flowing up and down my spine. Thanks so much!

I've used quite a few of your yoga nidra videos for a long time now, tbh I used them cos I knew I needed to try to practice as I know it helps, but never really felt like they did it for me but still keep using them..
Anyways, this one in particular was really good for me! I dunno if it's a combination of things as I'm on holiday and in a better place atm, and yesterday had an amazing day at the beach seeing exactly what was described here with the waves and colours of the sky and a tiny bit of rain, just no forest or mountains behind, but sand dunes and lots of trees behind that, anyways just wanted to say thank you for this, I'm glad I've kept watching your videos and found this one! 🙏🏾❤
