At our previous property we had a large fenced garden. For the first couple of years the deer would not get near the garden or the house. By the last couple of years there was regular evidence of their presence (non fenced crops pillaged and trampled). I guess they got comfortable after a while. To my surprise they never jumped the 4ft fence that I could tell.
That's something. I thought with you being more rural they'd be less bold. Don't see Mama. Around here they walk down the middle of the street during the day. And the walkway next to the house-tasty daylily plants, I guess.
I think they are orphaned. So young and were there all day. I kept chasing them into the woods for safety but they would come right back out. Hopefully they hookup with the bunch down by the pond.
Hopefully they will join with the heard down by the pond. I Think they are orphaned and need to learn to stay in the woods where they are camouflaged so I have been trying to chase them in there.
They are so beautiful ❤ I love all creatures 🥰
I’m guessing they are not having a smorgasbord in your garden 🤔
No, they basically laid in the field all day eating grass and soaking up the sun. I think they lost their moma and are orphans.
They have calendars too, know they're safe now
Usually mama keeps them in the tall grass. I think they are orphans.
They are impressed by the lawn! At least I am 😊
Thet must like the flavor of the weeds. Not normal for fawns to be out in the open like this.

we usually have a small heard of deer down by the pond. First time we have had young orphans hanging out up by the house.
I get deer in our yard on our 3 acres and they even sleep at night also.
Without the golf cart you can walk right up to these. I think they are orphaned because they should be hiding in the taller grass.
They smell nice people!😊
They definitely are friendly. Last night they walked up and watched me stacking wood.
@@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023 someone's probably been giving them treats...
Wowsers
Definitely lost their moma.

They are pretty except in your garden!

and when the season opens... nothing
We have a bunch down by the pond this year probably from the mild winter. I think there will be plenty.
