- FIRST LOOK: The E-Ray is here and now the Corvette not only gets a performance enhancing electric motor but also AWD from Chevrolet for 2024. On the outside you will find the wider body of the C8 Z06, standard carbon ceramic brakes, and new wheels. On the inside there are many way to customize the interior of the E-Ray and it had special hybrid readout on the instrumentation. Power the Corvette E-Ray is a 6.2L V8 combine with (1) electric motor to produce 655HP and only weighs 300lbs more than a C8 Stingray. Is the 2024 Chevrolet C8 Corvette E-Ray the BEST new performance car to BUY?

This is why I still prefer a hybrid over fully electric. Hybrid means you get the best of both worlds.

it still has the practicality and comfort of the stingray, AWD, and the performance and looks of the Z06. simply brilliant. unfortunately a lot of people hate corvettes so they'll probably hate this one too

Fantastic presentation Joe! And great video capture that Lori always does. I am pleased that the frunk dimensions are still equivalent to the Stingray.. My 2022 Z51 only has 1600 miles on it but I am impressed with the ERay! Can't wait to get on the configurator!
Joe when I 1st herd the Vette was going electric I wasn’t very impressed, but now I know it’s a hybrid I’m hyped. A Vette isn’t a Vette unless it has that naturally aspired V8 & it delivers! No rear wiper either, ha! Cheers Kirk

Great job, Joe! I've been on my local dealers Z06 list for a few years but I got added to the E-Ray list as well, we will see which allocation comes up first! This definitely sounds like it will be a great daily driver car!
