    My favorite Sorin's Words
    1. Let's come with a Power Supply.
    2. OK that's Bad
    3. And it's working can't believe.
    4. Oh! We're gonna replace the Capacitor, but not on this video. 😂😂😂😂😂 (best of them)
Sorin keep up the good work. Everything I have learnt from fixing pc comes from you.

Critical analysis and learning lessons here, find out the Root Cause (RC) by working out first the simple basic possibilities. To make that easy always take out the board first to start with basic inspection. RC is like you switched a TV on but greeted with black screen, first you checked you pressed the right switch, No light on Tv then is it plugged in? checked the fuse of plug and so on until you find the RC. OH dear power supply blown LOL which is the RC, may be so, but you find out there was lightning last night and that is the main Root Cause cause of the No power😂

It's a disgn failure. Same as in the Samsung A serie mobile phones. When you bend the housing the cable will rip the connectors on the board. To prevent this, Samsung should use a flex cable that is in a S figure so it can stretch without pulling.

25:55 - When importance of good 5 minute visual check is ignored... then eventually you come back to it hours later... guys dont jump straight into component exchange and testing and thinking... always first check board visually and clean it.
10:02 - Its the same configuration of components, for left and right audio channel, based on that you can see on left part is missing component with M or W. You can see 2 groups of the same components. The same is for desktop speakers.
    10:50 - Exactly.

Those connectors, are the same you find on Samsung Smartphones and they break, or get loose some pins from the board because of the bending of the products. Almost everyday I replace a conector like that, normally is the FPC on the Main Board, but sometimes the FPC from the LCD gets broken,
    Nice Video has always.
    Thank you.

In past repairs I have seen some white capacitors and they were very low value such as 22pF. In this case they were connected to a crystal and they were the clock oscillator capacitors. So the white caps on that board might be very low value caps in pF range.

interesting to know what was done to the motherboard. Why there is a knocked off component?! did someone try to clean the board?
the design of the motherboard of this particular model is very questionable to my opinion !
there is no need for two separate boards and a double connector with the flex cable between them.
any connector is possible source of fault!
don't understand also why WiFi card is soldered to the board.
this must be a new trend.
Anyway, the quality of the new laptops is very very questionable!
