I can't start the day without hearing this sentence. "We fixed it i can't believe"😄😄
How about this one: "It is 2023, we have connectors now."
My favorite Sorin's Words
1. Let's come with a Power Supply.
2. OK that's Bad
3. And it's working can't believe.
4. Oh! We're gonna replace the Capacitor, but not on this video. 😂😂😂😂😂 (best of them)
Sorin keep up the good work. Everything I have learnt from fixing pc comes from you.
and.... "we have picture"
Propper calibrated fuse
Oh, You forgot the most common "We fixed it!!!" (I assume with us together :D)
"proper calibrated wire"😂😂
""Who is this guy's.. a lot of beginners in UA-cam 😂""
Well done sorin ❤
Everytime I'm fixing a PC in my repair shop I keep repeating "it's workiiiing!! I can't believe!! LOL
Can you believe this man is calling himself names? I like the fact that you don`t complicate your job. You are flexible
that is better than someone calling you the names eh?
Sorin, thank you for informative and entertaining video. 😂
I was with one of my friends. We were talking about a problem he had with his computer. I gave him the link to your channel and told him the solution is here. Do you know what he said to me? He said, “I know him. I call him the doctor.” I wish you all the best, my friend.
Critical analysis and learning lessons here, find out the Root Cause (RC) by working out first the simple basic possibilities. To make that easy always take out the board first to start with basic inspection. RC is like you switched a TV on but greeted with black screen, first you checked you pressed the right switch, No light on Tv then is it plugged in? checked the fuse of plug and so on until you find the RC. OH dear power supply blown LOL which is the RC, may be so, but you find out there was lightning last night and that is the main Root Cause cause of the No power😂
This was as entertaining as it was informative. Thanks Sorin, I laughed a lot. 🤣
I like all your videos Sorin, but this one is THE TOP! 😀
Nice fix Sorin. Very informative video and very entertaining
This video had me in stitches....
Do it from the back..!
Sorin is the king..
Sorin, Don't get me wrong , this is a good video tutorial BUT i personally follow some other people doing this repairs what I don't like is when you guys get mad if a beginner or owner tries to repair their laptop before. that's the whole point of you guys doing these videos. thank you for sharing.
I really believe you didn't watch the whole video
Greet as avery time Sorin thank for the teaching, i learn alaway new thing go on so best regards Francesco from Italy
😂 I love the Sorin when he finally realized he's making money with the repair😅
This video it is for Experts ! i am now expert because i watched this. Big thank You.
Moin Sorin 😁i learn so much from your Chanel thx you for it.
Every time I hear you making fun of yourself I could throw myself away.
Keep it up, greetings from Germany😊
It's a disgn failure. Same as in the Samsung A serie mobile phones. When you bend the housing the cable will rip the connectors on the board. To prevent this, Samsung should use a flex cable that is in a S figure so it can stretch without pulling.
you are at the level of teacher. do not loss respect
28:06 Some Dickhead solder the speaker wire to the board😂😅😂😂😂I can't stop laughing. This is the best video ewer!! 😊
25:55 - When importance of good 5 minute visual check is ignored... then eventually you come back to it hours later... guys dont jump straight into component exchange and testing and thinking... always first check board visually and clean it.
10:02 - Its the same configuration of components, for left and right audio channel, based on that you can see on left part is missing component with M or W. You can see 2 groups of the same components. The same is for desktop speakers.
10:50 - Exactly.
@sorin you did repair a samsung laptop its r530 like many years ago thats why i found your channel because i have the same laptop and looking for a repair on youtube and shows your channel =)
Great video, as always.
Thank you for sharing 👍👍
Hilarious, Sorin you should do a stand up comedy act. Confessions of a repair tech LOL
I've never seen a 'nice and sexy diode' before!! 😎
Those connectors, are the same you find on Samsung Smartphones and they break, or get loose some pins from the board because of the bending of the products. Almost everyday I replace a conector like that, normally is the FPC on the Main Board, but sometimes the FPC from the LCD gets broken,
Nice Video has always.
Thank you.
rosin and sorin haha,, I learned a lot from this channel Thanks sorin
OMG 28:04 I laughed to death🤣
That was hilarious
Sehr schön gemacht
Hello🤝you are living legend ✌good work 👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👋👋👋👋👋👋👋
👍☺️The two board have not the same color.... Replacement board for the sound?....
In past repairs I have seen some white capacitors and they were very low value such as 22pF. In this case they were connected to a crystal and they were the clock oscillator capacitors. So the white caps on that board might be very low value caps in pF range.
Had a very similar fault, changed out the realtek chip etc, still no sound, ended buying a USB sound card.(6.99 from amazon) Plugged it in and now I have sound. Better than binning the laptop😊
Good job mate 👍
I laugh when you said "Some dickhead soldered the speaker on the board". I saw in the beginning that the speaker connection broke and you soldered the speaker itself...Good job anyway
very nice i always like your pratical session
ur the best love ur vibes 😂
Super . Thanks Sorin
Another great video! thanks
Who's this begginer had me dieing 😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤🎉
How expensive are those properly calibrated fuses. Also do you have a preferred brand fuse?
Thank you so much : very very interesting video +++++
Same as you it happened to me i forgot to put a heat shrink tube on a broken cable before soldering the wires it was bad
Great Sorin
lol very entertaining! i can't believe 😁
Good thing that beginner who soldered the speaker wire did not use conformal coating to protect the wires from shorts. Otherwise you would have to scrape the coating off to get that board out.
Proper calibrated technician 😂 you make me laugh a lot.
1:10 wouldn't it be under the Audio input and output?
Hi you probably won’t see this but when I go to put it on the charge the light comes on and it’s red and if I leave it on charge for a whole day it doesn’t change even when I try to turn it on or reset it any advice on what I should do?
This time its " We have Sound, I can't believe it " 😅
need the link for Sorins stuff?
great work, and patience of steel :D PS. I wonder what the heck the previous repair person did to break the speaker connector and then the ribbon cable connector on the right side... Just curious what the heck were they fixing to cause so much more dmg left behind... Crazy.
Look the different color for the sound board, that's the answer!
your beginner status is nicer than saying I am professor.
Sorry but that diode is soldered whit plus on the minus? I see it good or i am crazy?
Try it on a large machine mate😂
Takes weeks sometimes.
I need a sitdown job😅👍
"What do we do if the diode is too big?"
A: We cut it! :D
The begginer, the master, the LEGEND! 😁
"and some thick head solder the speaker wire on the board, I can't believe"
Wired for sound.🎶🎵🎶
That guy from the end of the video have solder that wires to board 😅
If for a beginner like Sorin, took more than 1 hour ....
It is a realtek audio chip, but the device manager only have the Intel audio driver component.
Bloody cowboy's welding speaker's to the board.🤔😂😂😂😂
Verygood. Sir
soren your the one who solder the speaker on the board not the begginers hehehe
After 3.5 years I also have a speaker problem on my Alienware Dell laptop, which was very expensive. I don't know whether I should have it repaired, I mean the headphones work great but the speakers don't. I can't do it myself, i have far too little idea. hmm...
Hey guys. Hope everyone is well. I just want to find out if anyone can tell me how Sorin knew which was the correct side to solder the diode? Is there a marking for positive and ground/negative? Would appreciate any feedback regarding this.
there is a dot on the diode, thats how i knew
what would happen if you plug in external speakers. I've had a similar situation with my Asus when the right speaker was dead, no visible damages. However the external speakers plugged in were worked fine
You are the best not a bignner my Friend.
Ok i'm not talking with you anymore ! You fix it again :)) . Cind ai timp / chef de ceva dadaceala online am un Hp batrin la care tremura vocea :)). Ceva idei ?
Amazing how u discovered the missing diode. Who would remove such a component and leave it missing ... Does not appear laptop was dropped and cause small diode to fall off. So you right ...these loose connectors and missing diode is a self-caused problem by previous repair attempt gone wrong.
who knew Richard Cranium had his own youtube channel ? LOL
I knew from the beginning of the video the flex connectors should be the fault
Fpc connector is a known fault on Samsung product like their phones
Bending the laptop caused the fpc solder to breaks
nowadays no one will work on that laptop that much and would throw it to the trash already.
a tip when you touch a samsung always check the connectors you can imagine how many times i have to reflow samsung flex cables ahahaha
Is the capasitor upside down beacuse white :)
you should try turning off and on
I don't know if it's my impression, but it seems to me that the quality of the Samsung connectors is really bad. I don't know if it's for miniaturization or to save costs, but even smartphones have these kinds of defects
I truly appreciate you for the insight towards some secrete to fixing of systems. pls how do I have your contact or WhatsApp line so as to chart with you personally
If you are left handed, why do you have the solder station to the right?
He is ambidextrous. He writes with both hands
22:00.. if it would be Samsung phone.. some Samsung phones detect headphones not via switch but via impedance.
Should have checked ‘show hidden devices’ in device manager. Can’t see faulty devices until you do.
👏👏👏😊👍
Those flex conectors are notoriuos for failing on all A series phones from Samsung.
super
Great
maybe, someone sat on the laptop? that was the first thing came into my mind.
if it looks like a diode, moves like a diode, swim like a diode, is a duck!
His proper name is "Richard Cranium"
interesting to know what was done to the motherboard. Why there is a knocked off component?! did someone try to clean the board?
the design of the motherboard of this particular model is very questionable to my opinion !
there is no need for two separate boards and a double connector with the flex cable between them.
any connector is possible source of fault!
don't understand also why WiFi card is soldered to the board.
this must be a new trend.
Anyway, the quality of the new laptops is very very questionable!
This is crazy, I was shown a 35 minute and 43 seconds long commercial... Luckely it was skippable...
34:10 You use the balance to hear if the base is in phase or not. The problem is that these tiny laptop speakers doesn't have very much base.
"Some dickhead . . " 🤣😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You do the speaker soldering! You are kidding right!?
Samsung galaxy with cheapie connectors thats crazy
Angry Sorin :)
We have sound!!
That was quit a lot of damage and spread out all over the board.
You solder the speaker wire on board
Same fault for most galaxy phones like a12 a weak connector
