Very lovely and realistically believable.
Walked by this $20 million dollar yacht every day for a week in Oahu and it just breaks my heart that someone (especially me!) is not out there sailing her. A beautiful ship. Pretty sure she's been sold now based on some googling.

When or how does a yacht become a superyacht? Do owners of superyachts actually sail them, or is it necessary to have a dedicated crew? If so, how many would be needed, what are their duties, and how many would be required? Is the person giving the commentary the owner or a paid crew member?

Ed was a great architect. I sailed on the boat that he made his name on, "Police Car", on its fastest-ever passage. 320 miles in 18 hours with 4 of us on board, and none of this bullshit. Nice motorboat.

Why build a mono hull these days multi hulls are bigger and faster
This Craft is 144ft long. It is hard to beat the Majestic Aura and Appearance of a large monohull under full sail which cannot be replicated by a Catamaran. My Favorite sailing craft is the new modern J-Class, such as Svea or Rainbow, fully modern cruising builds, these craft are truly Majestic. Catamarans definitely have their advantages, speed and mobility and space.
It seems like a lot of work to core granite when you could just use a more modern lightweight material.
Others maybe light weight but they dont have the durability or longevity of of granite.its a prized high end product for those reasons
