    Bomb! Also , grab some “fabric adhesive” from Michael’s or your local fabric store.. and u can squeeze a little inside those folded sides so the fabric is flat and flesh to the ottoman:)

    Great video. I'm recovering an ottoman. The folding with inside and outside layers was genius. I had no idea how I would handle the sides/corners.
    Love the color you chose! Thank you

    Thank you so much for this. My ottomans look gorgeous now. You took just the right amount of care - enough that it looks great to anyone passing by or even examining the outside up close. If it's in your own home, no one else is going to be looking on the inside of the ottoman anyway :) Really appreciate this video. I have subscribed. Imagine if even 5% of the people watching this video scubscribed..... My wish for you is that 20% do :)

    You made it look easy!! I'm in the process of redoing my ottoman. Problem is that my piece has grommets all around the lip. I think I'll just cover them and not replace them. Yours looks great and doesn't have grommets. TY

    Oh, my gosh. You have the exact ottoman I’m looking to upholstery, mine is cream. I love it and it’s the perfect height for my sofa but it has started peeling and I don’t like that. I’m really looking to only cover the top. The base is still in great condition. I’ll look for a fabric in the same color. Thanks for the inspiration.

    I love how you folded the corners, makes its look really professional. Im also a sale section girl lol
    Oh and I think the sofa may have been l8ke ex display...you know how shops will hwve them displayed out and styled. I work in a charity shop and we get a lot of ex display furniture. So it may never have actually been owned.

    I have a small ottoman but the only problem is you can flip it over the top like a tray and there’s no way of putting the fabric around I think it’s pretty well glued so any suggestions on that?

    This came out beautiful! I was going to throw my faux leather ottoman away but now I’m going to try reupholstering it. Do you have any tips for a storage ottoman with a top that doesn’t come off ?

    • @jaleabee6666
      @jaleabee6666  3 роки тому

      Love that! Would love to see how it turns out. Yes actually I do. I know it sounds silly but most tops do come off! Some you just have to do a little unscrewing to get it the hinges off. It’s usually super easy to get on and off, but *might* require a drill. Totally worth it though because it will make it so much easier to cover in two pieces!
