Absolutely brilliant. I really appreciated the fact that you FULLY explained every step you took. I’m older now and find it difficult to keep up. I managed very well with this video. I have an old 2 seater that I have been working on for about 3 years! I’m ready to add the buttons now. Thank you so much 😊
That’s really kind, thank you Paula! and glad to hear you found the video helpful 😊🙏🏻 If you enjoy my teaching style, I have just launched my own online upholstery training academy if you wanted to come and have a look - www.thefaceliftacademy.com 😊🙏🏻 hope to see you there!
Wow, what a timing! I'm about to finish my armachairs following your video, and start on the foot stool. Thank you ever so much, I wouldn't have made it without you!
Glad I could help and appreciate the support. Don't forget if you want better and more detailed tutorials please visit www.thefaceliftacademy.com ✂️🧵⛏️🙌🧷🪡
I'm so looking forward to starting my at home upholstery business. This will positively change my life and give me back my independence and ability to take care of myself. I'm so grateful to have this opportunity. Due to health issues (cancer survivor x2 years). I no longer desire the stressful situations of corporate America or working for someone else. i want to do what I enjoy doing, sewing, giving new life to items we love by refurbishing and reupholstering furniture. I appreciate your experience in this field and your ability to help people such as myself. This is indeed a new life line for me to lead a normal life. Respectful Thank you, Noah❤
This is lovely to hear thanks Noah! Glad to hear you are also feeling better now. 😊 💯🙌 Don't forget to check out The Facelift Academy.com for helping you on your journey! Thanks for watching 🙏⛏️🧵📎🪡🙌
Well done, looks fantastic. The diamond diagram explanation makes sense, basically add the button depth measure to each diamond, but having there lines drawn up do make it all easier and neater to achieve the straight lines. 👍🏽
Can you let me know the link for the UA-cam demo you have done for piping please. Just about to attempt recovering dining room chairs as my first project (from one of your UA-cam demos) , but would like to have a go at the piping. Thanks.
This is great, thank you. Question: Typical upholstery fabric is 54" wide, selvage to selvage. Using this method, what's the widest ottoman you can make? Has anyone done the math?

Awesome. Love it
Thank you June! 😊🙏🏻
Absolutely fantastic work. It's a sub from me! How long does a project like this usually take?

Exactly!! Thank you for watching, glad it made sense 😊🙏🏻

Thank you Jackie 😊🙏🏻
Fantastic video and I have 3 ottomans to do
Thank you!! Good luck with your ottomans 😊🙏🏻
Nice work
Thank you 😊🙏🏻
Can I use Dacron on the sides of the Ottoman instead of foam?
Hi what foam do you recommend to make an ultra compfy bench seat for a camper van? Im going to use webbing on the frame. Many thanks
ì love the fabric
Thank you!! It’s a good fabric 👍🏻
Thoughts on using 6x2 white deal timber for a custom-made chesterfield sofa frame instead of hardwood timber?
Hmmm should be good, lot stronger than mdf or ply. Obviously not as good as hardwood but good.

Does the elastic webbing last? I take it out a bunch as it tears or wears out.
All webbing wears, to me it makes more sense than hessian webbing , especially on seated areas 💪⛏️✂️🧷🪡🧵
Nice Job, May I ask how long have youve been doing upholstery ?
Hi Neil, what kind of webbing do you recommend using for this sort of project?
Elastic webbing
This is great, thank you. Question: Typical upholstery fabric is 54" wide, selvage to selvage. Using this method, what's the widest ottoman you can make? Has anyone done the math?
Depends on the size of the diamonds also but great question.
I'd say 30" but I would be guessing. 👌👍✂️♻️⛏️🧵🪡
How many year's have you been an upholsterer ?
I'm glad to watch a more recent video that's not 2-3 years old 😊
Ahh sorry, our most recent video was uploaded 4 months ago as we were building the academy 😟 but we haven’t disappeared 😊 thanks for watching!!
You're adorable 😁
And you’re too kind, thanks John 😆
