Both mine have water there cracks in them and one has missing parts so husband got new ones. Bought it like this

do you have a video on how to replace the socket on the reverse light since mine got wet as well.
I dont but you do the same procedure to get to it. Then twist off the light bulb pig tail and out comes the light bulb....hope this works!
What did you have to do to remove the center connector with the red switch?
The red switch is a locking tab. Pull it back with a flat head and you shod be able to release it. Good luck bro
I can’t get the cable connection to come off
I tried to pull on it after pulling the red tap upwards with a flat head screwdriver and even used pliers to try to get it off it’s like the previous owners used glue so tight
Wow sounds like it. You can try positioning yourself in front of the Taillight then with both hands open handed (like high 5's 👐) then forcefully slide and grip them as your trying to slide it out towards the trunk....sometimes thats the only way i can do it to get it out. Gotta slap them out of there 😬

It has to, try using something to pry it with its clipped on and should come off
Hoy balls, I can never remove that large joint, and have to reuse the light plugs. I've replaced the light twice on a 2015, same light fixture, and fond it impossible to seperate the two. I just left the old light connections and they worked just fine, since most importantly, the new fixture didn't have the back up light anyhow. But shit, I used pliers, screw drivers and almost called Steve Rogers since it was next to impossible to sever the connection. WTF?
