The Queen’s entire arc is that she’s a self destructive character. Her magic powers give her the ability to control the weather. She finally went too far and symbolically and metaphorically did herself in. There’s nothing boring about her death. She had to destroy herself. A woman so hellbent on conforming to society’s views of women, that she cripples herself with potion in an attempt to kill her enemy and gain it all back. Lotta irony here. Almost as if Walt had a message for his audience on how not to be?

Snow White is supposed to be 14 years old. The Prince's name is Florian, he's supposed to be 17/18 years old
In the beginning where she sings "la, la, la, la," comes out of opera. And was often mocked. See Linda Ronstadt's entrance in Gilbert & Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance - where the composer was trying for the "barnyard effects" as he called them in typical Italianate opera. Search on UA-cam: "Poor Wandering One."
Snow White was played by Adriana Caselotti, and Disney felt her voice was so special, he forbade her from doing voice-overs or other roles, as he wanted to preserve the illusion of Snow White. (Not sure how he managed that.) MGM did get permission a year later for her to do one line in the Wizard of Oz where she says, off-stage, "Romeo, where forth art thou" to the tin woodsman's query.
